Interesting idea. The steps between moving your character and the other cubes moving takes too long. Some interface elements to display what is happening would be great. I wasn't even fully sure of the goal.

Great concept. I think the difficulty could be easily solved by changing the keys to a more ergonomic choice. So for Level 1 with the square pattern, use keys W, E, S, and D instead. This would relate more to the movements. Once this is implemented, I think the game will be enjoyable to play and master.
