Really fun game! The lack of directions or a map, while confusing at first really lifts up the experience and once I made it to the village, I felt really accomplished and achieved. i understand that the boat controls were intentionally supposed to feel a little clunky but I still think there should be a bit more control and agency especially over the rotation. Overall a short, enjoyable game!
Hey! I use Godot and I have a very small team of me and my art friend. I'm not necessarily the best game developer or even a good one. I'm not asking to join us because I'm not really sure how we would collaborate but we could help each other with our ideas and I could help you with any coding issues. If you are considering actually joining our team, then I'll valiantly try to find a way!
It was a very good game I must say. Since this is your first experience with using Unity 3D I'm going to be a little harsh. Firstly there are a couple of bugs when it comes to reloading. The movement is great but it doesn't have much depth to it, especially thinking about the setting your game is about. I'm not too experienced in the levels for fast paced games but you're levels seem too clear cut, like you had an empty plan and you ran a scissor through it. In Fast paced games the player has to have somewhat complex terrain to test the players adaptivity. Look at some of DOOM Eternal levels and you'll understand me. It was an extremely great game and if you continue working with this great progress I'm sure you'll make a masterpiece!
