Are you on Mac? If so, put it in its own folder. I had a similar problem and it was just because a different Unity game had a save file in the same folder and it couldn't get overwritten

Two quick bugs I noticed while playing: If you initiate the cockpit menu while the walking animation is playing, the animation will continue playing despite standing still. Also, I had the mission where you have to return a bag, and I noticed that once you pick up the bag and put it on your ship, the game will drop another bag off on the planet. You can do this endlessly
But bugs aside, I'm loving this so far! This kind of gameplay loop is definitely very appealing to me, and the setting is cool too!
For some reason, Unity reads XBox controllers wrong. Because the XBox controllers have analogue triggers, Unity counts them as analogue sticks, and maps walking to them. When I tried with my controller, pressing down the right trigger both moved the camera down and made me move right, while letting go of the right trigger moves the camera up and makes me move left. I'm pretty sure you can fix it in the input tab when launching the game (Although, doing so on my mac causes the program to freeze)
