I recently reviewed one of my previous posts on itch and I was like "What? Pelican party had a dev log other than on itch?" (I know that they have a sneak peak club but not for me 'cause I got no allowance for subscriptions like that). Can someone tell me about where to catch up with dev logs because recently the itch dev log is absolutely silent.
I finally made it to fish after completing fruit (yeah I'm bad at fruits)
But what is this crack ?
Note that after taking this screenshot above I took a step forward and I died even though my body was in (not on) the land. Maybe a problem with the hitbox/model of the land? Or maybe a hint for new fruit?
Anyway, an advice, if your movement buffs are around 7-13, the sand hole is about four steps away from that dividing opening of the two dunes, if you face that signal dune. I got that number with counting and practice, but for the rest of the fruit challenges I got from Docoman. Watch his on Youtube
I once wrote about the idea that gatehouse fruit is too hard. It is still quite hard, and I tried ten times or so until I could do both holes without dying. A few people commented under my post and now I can realize that only after so great work can great satisfaction come. I managed to finish it once before I again was unable to go to that tower. The next next map pelican gives should also have a brilliant, challenging fruit, but I still hold a little portion of my previous idea that the next map should have a difficulty like the desert fruit. Give people one challenging fruit after a couple. But sadly I still can't find the Hills Fruit it is even more obscure than the second stepping stone in the gatehouse fruit
It is different, but still enjoyable and interesting just as before. It is true the addition of melee has resulted in some people completely neglecting to use bows and slicing around frantically, which disrupts the game and departs from its purpose. However, I personally think that melee has completely changed how tactics have been, increasing the games using-your-mind part, and requires not only mastery of bows, but also skills in using both kinds of weapons cooperatively, melee battles, flag-catching tactics, and even prediction of the enemies movements, which I used commonly in the Tombs map whenever another player climbs into the sniping point high on the valleys of between our tombs (quickly go to the entrance to the sniping point in your tomb and you may find him there, but once someone predicted my prediction and held his aim to the bottom of the ladder). Fruits are also good, and even though sometimes I don't like having groups of players abandon the game, it is very fun to hold a fruit hunt.
In conclusion, it isn't the old narrow one anymore. It is a better narrow one.
I saw a lot of your posts, and I have to admit you guys are one of the best players. I followed a lot of tutorials published by players like you guys before I finally cracked the desert fruit. By the way, I like fruits, just a bit frustrated because the only time I was one step before the gatehouse fruit was disrupted because the only other player out of six or eight or so that was actually playing the game sent a flag home
