Heya!

The jam is coming to and end soon. To be honest, I've gotten very little done. The odds of me finishing and posting a game in the next 16 hours is really low.

That said, I'm really excited to see what everyone else makes! We've had a couple of submissions already. Even if this jam doesn't accomplish more than that, it'll have been worth it. There's more art in the world than there was before and that's a beautiful thing.

Sweet!

Hell yeah, link me to it!

That's what I'm counting on, lol.

I looked through the list again today. Started drafting The Oroborus Loop. I've got a setting that I've used before that I can slot into nicely.

Oh, you're very welcome!

If I can ask, did you use this to remember an actual parent or did you make up a character?

Hello!

I've seen that some people have joined, so I wanted to see what's interesting. There are a lot of titles and premises. What are people thinking about tinkering with? Right now Contraband Arcana and its premise of Magic is illegal and you're magical as fuck are the front-runners for me.

No worries! It's a beta, so stuff like this was bound to slip though.

The exploding dice work how you expect. If I'm remembering correctly, all dice should explode. I'll have to double-check, as it's been a while since I've worked with the system. Once I sort it out, I'll update the documents. Thank you!

Sadly, I wasn't able to produce the tarot decks.

It is 100% like that on purpose.

If I set the PDF up correctly, you should be able to look at the alt text on that page and get all of the items listed in numerical order.

Download the file I just uploaded. Sorry about that. I'd say that I have no idea how I missed updating this, but we've had two kids since the original publication, so that explains, well, everything, lol

That's awesome! Thank you for giving the game a try!

Awesome, I'd love that!

A PDF? Yeah, it's a tabletop roleplaying game, in digital form, so it's only a PDF.

An uneasy(?) truce? Cool.

I think handling it with story is the perfect way to go about it. No notes, excellent job!

Bro, I just can't let go, bro

As of today, Iron Edda Reforged is in Beta! If you've purchased it, make sure to download the new PDF and check out all the updates!

Awesome, thank you! I've only got a couple more sections to write in my draft doc before I'll update to Beta. At that point, it should be text-complete but unedited. Hopefully that'll be done in the next month or so.

Thank you so much!

Thank you for all of this!

For page 14, if I did it correctly, the alt text should have the entire list in numeric order. Please let me know if that isn't the case. I wanted to make it weird but also have it be accessible.

They have three. Five is a typo that made it through editing accidentally =)

There are oceans around Midgard, to the north and west. As well, the Nine Rivers serve much the same purpose, as they cross most of Midgard.

There are no official rules for ships, though I have had a Bone bonded use Shape the Bones to make their giant into a bone and sinew ship. That ruled.

The diversity in Bonebonded comes from the different characters' aspects and how different the giants are. I also recommend making new stunts because that's a really effective way to differentiate characters thematically and mechanically.

Uploaded a new file today - Updated the character and town sheets to be form-fillable PDFs — TB

Let's let the 90s continue for a little longer, yeah?

The deadline has been extended by one week! In honor of the Barenaked Ladies hit single, this will be known as the Barenaked Extension.

This is not a ranked or reviewed jam. This is all for love of the games and songs!

The intent is that it's a radio single because those are most recognizable. However, I'm not going to pull a posted game if it's from a 90s album.

Awesome, thank you for letting me know!

That's the only category that TTRPGs fit under, currently.

Yeah it would be. Safety tools very required.

It looks like the bulk of the comics on the first few pages opted to resize to fit itch's formatting, but for those physical game creators who don't want to do that, the blurred background is a good solution.

I just transitioned all of my titles over here, and I love everything I've seen so far. The comments above are excellent, and I want to see them implemented.

One thing that stands out to me is the formatting and aspect ratios of the cover images. TTRPG covers are usually 6x9" or 8.5x11". That means to get my stuff here on itch.io, I had to go and reformat 12 cover images (which sometimes produces really unflattering results) to have a page image for every game. I was able to upload the full cover as a "screenshot," sure, but being able to display the full cover on my main page would be even better.
