You could check the closest distance to a needle a spawning timer is. If that distance is too close, reselect the spawn point.

Thanks! The original concept had more, including trippy mechanics like 4-way mirrored stages and teleporters that'll bring a mirrored player into the non mirrored one while still keeping its mirrored controls. I couldn't hope to do all that within the time constraints though.

How did you show the entire web player border and everything? My game's viewport is messed with because of the smaller screen size on the game page.

Great game by the way. I love the laser reflection mechanic as a weapon, although I'd prefer it if the enemies could team kill without their laser getting reflected. Right now a mob can block another's laser shooting it in the back.
