Sadly couldn´t try it, because my PC has something against it for some unknowable reason and therefore lags like hell. Still hoping for a Steam Deck port though.

Will definitively try it on PC!

Wanted to play on Steam Deck, but the Download is only Windows. :(

Will get longer eventually.

The thing with w was just a debug tool i forgot to delete.

I have plans for more boss fights.

You can read more details about where I want to take this in my devlog State of the Legend.

Thank you for the feedback!

I must admit that the current state is almost the same I submitted for the GMTK-Jam, but I couldn’t make more update because part of the team has been to busy.

Also: Did you read the State of the Legend (devlog)?

Thank you for the kind feedback.

That is no glitch that is just me, who has forgotten to delete my cheat tools after testing something.

Hi Dev!

Thanks.

I find that clip quite interesting. How do you do it?

(I know how I could probably undermine it, but I won‘t do it in an updated version I want to release after the jam. To funny of a clip.)

I am called thestormcrafter on Discord.

I like the concept, though I would make the paddles move detached from the player control.

I would like to have some sound effects for my game, but it is made in Scratch so I would need mp3. Also: I compose the music myself so... .

Would you say. the game was too short?

Would you say your time is representative for the avarage first completion time?

First at speedrunning or first in general?

Also: Nice time! Congrats on it!

Try bunny hopping (jumping gives a little speedboost). Did you abuse any bugs to achieve it?

I would really like if there would be a scratch-jam. But I don‘t know of any and certainly have not enough reach to host my own one.

Did you practice for this time or is this one of your first attempts?

Also: Are you good at music?

(Feedback on the music would be appreciated. I can send you pdfs/musescore-files, when you want.)

How would you find a double jump as expansion to her toolbelt? (That would mean, that the float would be bound to a different key.)

I will certainly expand the game after the end of the jam.

How do you find the tutorial skip?

I loved it; what else is there to say?

Actually, I have a few more words:

I generally love metroidvanias and platformers so the game fit me very well. My one critique point would be the character: They feels just bad and clumsy to control. I really think a character that feels good to control should always be priority number one - especially in Jump´n´Runs.

Good Job, but a perfect needs to be deserved!

Deserve it.

You can do this.

(Next time.)

Thank you for the feedback. I might continue developing the game, if you are interested.

Have a nice time!

I meant: How did you like it?

And also: Did you think it was clear what you had to do in order to reach the fight?

Was the glide too long?

Ok. I certainly will do so.

If you are interested, I will likly continue to develope the game.

I think I phrased that wrong. It was meant more generaly.

Would you think it is a good idea expanding your game after the jam (when uploading files is available again)?

I have ideas.

I first experimented with a lower bowser which could be jumped over, but it didn’t feel good when bowser was smaller than you.

How did you find it?

Came from playtesting.

Did you manage to defeat a very non descript turtle? When yes: How did you liked the fight (I know it is highly inspired)?

Your feedback has been appreciated.

Did you manage to defeat the boss?

Anyways: Thank you for playing.

Thank you for playing!

Though what exactly do you mean with more lenient?

Is this a subjective or an objective problem?

Anyways: Thank you for the feedback.

A position of bring stuck can be fixed always with a reload. In this specific case a jump should also unstuck you.

Thanks for playing and the feedback.

Have fun!

Did you manage to reach the boss?

When yes: How did you find the fight (I know it is heavely inspired)?

Thanks for the feedback!
