The save thing worked! Sort of. The issue comes back anytime you have to reload the world, which also includes entering and exiting any dungeons or dying. But it was much more interesting with the books I could read, and I found a few new novels to read to boot. I'll probably wait for the next release though to play more.

Thanks for the quick reply! I have more bugs I'll list below but to answer your question I like the story. It's perfectly silly, at least as far as I've gotten in it. The floating tree is fun, you poke fun at how the character walks up stairs, the first quest is great. Also the layout of the map is cool too, I had fun running around and exploring everything and its great when games encourage that. I don't think I noticed any clues from the books, I can't check right now due to one of the bugs.
As far as scaling the regen is probably way too strong on the Orcs, with their speed it was more annoying than anything to fight them since they could dodge my attacks and come back at full health. The spells also scaled poorly, but that might not be the case if the skill system was working. At a certain point, when you're fully armored up you can steamroll through almost any enemy and that's fun.
1) Big bug. When you try and start a new game after having saved a game none of the overworld items appear. This includes things like the bag missing in your recent dev update as well as any litRPG. It also seems to stop you from getting any experience gained from exploring new places. The litRPG books in dungeons still appeared fine (like Bone Dungeon in the Skeleton Dungeon). It also doesn't reset the map so anything you discovered in a past play through will still be there.
2) When starting a new game the first two Goblin Weaklings can't do any damage to you. Which also led to a fun bug where one of them did their overhand attack which popped my character into the air a little bit, the second one did an overhand attack while I was still in the air and I was sent flying high into the sky before splatting on the ground. Doing some testing this happens if you jump on their head when they go for an overhand attack.
3) Some combat bugs. The Goblin Weaklings have an attack which will take off 80% of your health no matter what. I had 60+ armor and 1200 health and in one hit was dropped down to 200 health by the weakest enemy in the game. It also looks like Orc Archers and Goblin Archers don't do any damage at all? Not sure if that was my armor or not, need to do some more testing. Mages are super fun to fight btw with their teleporting. But their version of 'Inferno' can be almost entirely ignored, damage might be bugged. Meanwhile their homing fireballs are crazy deadly, not bugs, just general comments. You can 'Tab target' enemies through walls too. Maybe not a bug but with enough enemies attacking you you can be hit stun permanently and not be able to do anything.
4) In the input settings you can't change any of the key bindings and it looks like they don't display the right inputs properly until you hit the 'Defaults' button. Then the input menu changes completely. It's in a different order, showing the proper bindings (for example Torch is listed as 'P' at first, when you hit Defaults Torch is properly listed as 'N').
5) Big Bug. When you load a game in Toon Dungeon you are loading into the dungeon without any items or equipment and it resets your health/stamina pools back to level 1 values. Both loading a game from dying or just loading from a save point in the dungeon does this. RIP my gear.
6) You can 'over spend' skill points on the "Run" skill in the casual tree taking away the benefits. Accidentally did that, "wasted points" indeed. Also can't 'drag' the Fire spell into my active spells list, the other 4 spells work fine. The Inferno spell tree lists everything as ice magic. I also can't seem to activate any of the skills? Any points spent seem to do nothing and I can't drag them to 'activate' the skills on the right.
7) The 'find the windows and doors' quest is bugged? I went to the quest marker but I didn't find any windows. The way point also appears in the Toon Dungeon and the Cave Dungeon. The way point in the Toon Dungeon points to like 50 items hanging out on the floor, probably a bug.
8) You can 'activate' ladders through a wall letting you teleport through the wall. Found in the chest/bed house in Toon Dungeon.
9) When teleporting to Toon Dungeon for the first time it takes you to the 'end' of the dungeon first. Trying to leave Toon Dungeon and the portal teleported me to really far above the Newbie dungeon leaving me stuck outside the dungeon. Which is also how I found out that you can use the teleport spell to just teleport through the Newbie Dungeon walls, lol.
10) Karl the Blacksmith sells a shield for 0 money. When equip it looks like the model is rotated 90 degrees from what it should be, sticking out of your back like a back brace. The Trilogy Magic Sword also seems to be rotated 180 degrees from what is intended. Makes it impossible to use.
11) Killing enemies in any Dungeon doesn't add them to your 'Creatures' list. Also Goblin Footsoldiers have "Nasty smelly."
12) Just south of the dragon alter (or up on the map) there are some Goblin grunts and archers. The archers are trapped behind an invisible wall and are unlootable.
13) Sometimes enemies disappear without dropping any experience. Like the Window house Goblin archer. Or any of the Toons in the toon Dungeon, or the Golems. Feels bad not getting any experience from them.
14) On the bottom left of the map on your way to the small dragon portal the Orcs in the fortress (1 mage, 2 archers 2 warriors) spawn inside the fort with no way out. There is also a spot in the terrain just past the gate where you can get permanently stuck in a 'falling' animation not letting you jump or teleport out.
15) The torch can get permanently stuck in your hand if you equip a spell/weapon while holding it.
16) In the Big Dragon Portal dungeon the Warstor Thief boss doesn't take any damage. I may be missing some clues here though, no litRPG books to read (see point 1)
17) In the Cave Dungeon the Cave Dungeon Core is missing from alter. Also in that dungeon there are some walls you can just walk through.
18) Crafting is bugged. If you start crafting an item and select a different item whatever item you selected second will get made. So you can craft the best sword and armor for free. I don't mind this bug so much :)
19) I'm not able to use any dice to upgrade gear. The experience gems still work though.
20) Checked again with the storage chest and I can drag and drop stuff there now. Thanks! Though FYI there are 6 copies of the gauntlets in the chest. Also noticed that the rain still splashes on the ground in Bellow's hideout.
21) Any books I do pick up don't get added to my book list, so I can't get any hints.
After all of that I want to say I played this game all day today and I had a ton of fun checking everything out. I wish I could see the litRPGs floating around and read them in the book tab. All the weapons were really cool, Unicorn Sword best weapon. Finding the Bone Dungeon book in the Skeleton Dungeon was fun. Toon Dungeon fight club was also really cool. Is there a way to delete my save file so I can start a completely fresh file so I can see litRPGs floating around again?
Few small bugs
1) Hot slot 1 doesn't have a default binding and in the input settings doesn't appear with the rest of the Hot Slot keys. Also in the input settings "MoveForward" has no binding (though it is working properly as W) and MoveRight says "Right"
2) It looks like there's an 8bit pizza on the ground in Newbie town that I can't loot :(
3) I don't know if you're supposed to be able to loot the chest in the Bellow house but can't grab anything from there. Also looks like one of the windows managed to not get stolen from the Bellow house. Not sure if part of quest or mistake or Easter egg.
4) In Newbie Dungeon you can see enemy goblin names and health bars through the walls, seems like a really far range. I kept thinking enemies were attacking when there was no one nearby. Also the mini-map doesn't display your position properly. For example, standing next to the Newbie Dungeon Core it shows your position as being across the room from it. Other times it looks like you're out of bounds.
5) The Toons health bars are sometimes really really long. Happened for both an archer and a warrior for me before they overwhelmed me with their cuteness.
6) Also this may just be user error but no idea how to use the Dice I find or add any litRPG books to my books tab.
