Thanks for your input! We actually do have 6 recipes during the day phase, but they're not all unlocked on the first day. More unlock as the days go on. Latte is actually one of them, haha!

A definitely interesting game! The visuals and the sound effects were great, the creativity on display is super engaging, the concept of what you're going for is great. Unfortunately, the main issue I've run into is that I really quickly lose all direction. Like, sure my goal is to kill my shadow but I don't even have a clue as to how. I tried combining all the herbs I could, finding unique combos and what not but it was hard to track what I'd already combined already, and then I just. ran out of places to go, and my interest to keep playing dropped.
A bit more of a push, a stronger clue as to what I'm looking for, any amount of recognition that I'm making progress, and it would've sealed this as a really powerful and engaging experience for me.
Also, Fortuna isn't really that helpful. Like, it technically helps but especially on higher difficulty rolls it just feels like a waste. Only time I'd think to use it is if I somehow missed a low difficulty roll. The others were cool though.
I'm glad you had fun! We actually had more puzzle mechanic ideas but they had to be cut for time, unfortunately. The main puzzle mechanic we left out was dogs that would run back and forth that you can pull to get them to push boxes for you. Maybe we'll update it with new features... I'll never tell :P
I loved the visuals and the music, the vibe was incredibly soothing, but unfortunately I did have the same issue as a bunch of the other commenters. As soon as it got to letters like T or X, I couldn't wrap my head around it. Complex letters just weren't really taught to me and while I tried a bunch of ideas to figure it out, it only gave me errors until I just stopped playing out of frustration. I do like the game, and I wish I connected with it better, but unfortunately I wasn't to.
