Hey, thanks for the reply, for the flying bug I would probably see it throwing stingers or cutting in front of it with a wing flap. For the spider I would see it jump to attack or throw an acid projectile and for the running alien I would see it scratch you when close.  That what comes to my mind when I think about it :)

Hello! very nice work ! I love the style. I am using it for a small project ! i will credit you once done ! 
I suggest to add a climb animation on the striker, it could be a nice feature for platformers ;)
