I follow the development of the game since the first version of Origins (before it had that name, when the boss was still invisible :p).
The new version has a lot of potential, the combination of Roguelike and Soulslike is interesting, but quite problematic. The concept of permadeath and soulslike are incompatible, by the concept in a soulslike you need to try successive times to fight a boss and overcome the challenge by trying and failing, and therein lies the problem. If every time I die to a boss I need to go back the entire game, the difficulty and frustration level gets unnecessarily high.
As a suggestion, I would say to create a Hardcore mode, which can be activated in the game's options. When activated, the game stays as it is now. If Hardcore is disabled, create checkpoints in the style of Origin's, if you die you go back to the beginning of the Level, that is, if you die into the boss room, you go back to the beginning of the boss room.
This way you can create a Roguelite that can be played as a Roguelike (when hardcore is active), making the experience more accessible on a first playthrough and creating a truly challenging game mode for those who have beaten it several times and know the tricks of all the bosses.

Ontem foi a entrega da nossa primeira milestone, no entanto devido a algumas "melhorias" feitas pela google no forumeiros, um funcionalidade nova de segurança impedia usuários com menos de 1 semana de postarem links externos. O problema no entanto já foi solucionado, e estaremos aceito as submissões da milestone 1 hoje até as 23h 55min sem quaisquer penalidades.
