Battle of Herone – A strategic and dynamic card game inspired by Hearthstone Battlegrounds, where players engage in automatic battles and use the board to craft their strategies.
Game Description:
In Battle of Herone, players compete in automatic battles with a strategic focus on manipulating the board. Each turn, players have access to a shop with random cards, featuring over 60 types of cards, including troop cards and magic cards. Troop cards are placed on the board, while magic cards are used to cast effects or boost the attributes of your troops.
Players can spend gold to purchase cards from the shop, upgrade the shop to access better and more powerful cards, or "roll" to generate new options. They can also "freeze" cards, ensuring they appear in the next round. To optimize strategy, players can choose to remove cards from the board during the preparation phase.
When the battle phase begins, troops automatically engage in combat against opposing forces. The true fun lies in each card's special abilities, which can dramatically affect the outcome of the battle – from abilities that freeze enemies to effects that increase damage or generate gold upon defeating foes.
Development Status:
Battle of Herone is currently in the development phase. At the moment, there are only 10 cards implemented, but all core gameplay mechanics are in place. The focus now is on polishing the map, adding menus, hero selection at the start of the game, sound effects, and music. We also plan to add a battle statistics screen to show player performance, including who dealt the most damage. Additionally, graphical improvements, adjustments, and fine-tuning are in progress. The game is fully modular, allowing us to add features like new scenarios and content at any time.
