the game is in very early stages. it might just be that it wasn't possible to tell the direction it would take in the even earlier builds you played. and that's disappointing to find out it's going in a direction you don't agree with. but ultimately, i don't think there's much you can do other than putting your opinion out there (diplomatically) and hoping for the best.

let's not get dramatic. no one is targeting you. i'm mildly disappointed you don't enjoy the game (it's great) but that's about all you can expect. if it's not for you, be glad you have a normal head on your head and move on.

i don't doubt that you're right, but keep in mind how early this game is in development. last version is 0.1.3. and scripting levels/story/maps usually takes place after the engine is in a good enough spot. so i'd say it's not realistic to expect too much variation at this point.

now, i know how this type of game usually goes... amateur dev with a good initial idea either turns the game into either a scam or a disappearance act. i'm not gonna be naive and say you're being unreasonable.

but this game is completely free so far and, personally, i just get the feeling the guy knows what he's doing. idk why i think that, i might be bsing. but for now i think the trust-and-wait strat for smut games is best.

not supported in e621 afaik. i don't know about any plans from the dev to implement that client side. but if that's the only instance where you need the AND, i think there's a "male_focus" tag that might fit? your best bet is just to look for these existing "compound" tags and use those.

from the bottom of my heart: get a refund if you can. and never buy early access smut games ever again unless the dev has the track record. this sort of pump and dump scam happens waaaaaay too often with this sort of game. they probably started the project with honest intentions... but when they taste the easy patreon money and see how understanding the playerbase is, they quickly change gears.

believe me, i'm not exaggerating. this always happens and at this point it's the exception if a game gets finished. my honest advice is only ever buy the finished game. it's sad that this is how it has to be. but the "truth" is in the pudding.

now, in case it's a coincidence you're saying this today and you didn't check patreon, you're in luck. R9 is gonna release at the latest on the last day of may. or so they say. it'd be pretty sad if it didn't but i wouldn't be surprised, knowing how patreon smut games go. but we'll see.

sure. "slow down". but the subscription amount stays the same, doesn't it? and then next year you get another "slow down". the patreon model rewards you for stretching out the project as long as possible and there's too many projects where the dev notices that it pays to just not deliver.

not finished. but definitely worth playing even as it is. or you could wait for it to be done and (as a wise man once said) play in full. if you have that sort of patience.

anyone of similar games? i played this on a whim and i enjoyed a ton more than i thought i would. horror aspects in smut is so rare. it's also not only horror... but it's hard to describe exactly. but anyway, if you guys know of any other rare gems like this, how about sharing? :) i really hope i'm not breaking any rules btw.

by the way, i should say this game is pretty amazing. quality all around and great scenes without being in poor taste or feeling cheap.my only gripe is maybe the "anime"-ish style of the characters' faces. but even then, you get used to it. and i never was in doubt that the graphics guy knows his stuff, even if, like i said, i'm not a fan. i'm not complaining about the proportions of the characters btw. that's all very good :). and the art is otherwise great.

it also kind of looks like 3d assets were used but they are blended into the overall direction perfectly and it all works great together. it creates an atmosphere/ambiance that draws you in.

the token, which you find outside the bar, has nothing to do with the hat though. the token is for the gambling minigame only. and the hat, which you find in the mill upstairs, is only for molly's scene.

i don't know what you're asking about the token. it's as you said. show it to the barman and he'll send you to the big titty gambler to play.

that's encouraging to hear. the game to me is one of those hidden gems. everything is just great and i really want to support its development but unfortunately, with the amount of games out there that, if you look at the bottom line, they're just cash grabs, always stalling and barely anything new comes out (with very few exceptions where even if they do that, i still wanna throw my cash at them).

anyway, i wish you all the luck and health you need and hope you can reach your goals. i can't wait to be paying for this game.
