I've tried replicating the issue on my steam deck, here's what happened:

- I've installed Feyna's Quest through the Itch Linux Desktop App

- I started it through the itch app (while in desktop mode)

- The screen started to flicker rapidly, The mouse snapped back to the center of the screen

- I could still see my desktop, and tried shutting the down through the application launcher menu, which didnt seem to work

- I ultimately shut down the device by opening the konsole and typing in shutdown

- The deck boots back up normally, though it did show a screen of "verifying installation" (which sometimes happens if it's not shut down correctly)

All in all, it's fine now but the game doesn't start properly and produces this visual problem on my end

No, I'm using the Itch Launcher to play my games, the only game i had a similar behavior from before was Tetris Effect launched through the Xbox App, which forcibly opens SteamVR. However,

I also looked through the files of the game trying to fix it on my own, and maybe its because of some default third party binaries in unreal (i could find them under "\Concentric\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty"). Deleting OpenVR and Oculus leads to the game crashing shortly after Startup, but also SteamVR not opening.

Currently, the only way to prevent this is to entirely uninstall SteamVR, as it opens up even when steam is fully closed and exited out of.

HIya, when i launch this game it automatically launches SteamVR
I'm unsure as to why this occurs, as there is no apparent VR mode or something like that (not that i'm asking for one)
Closing out SteamVR however also Automatically closes the game, even if it doesnt show up in the headset
Is this intended behavior?
