The game was suppost to be about a male / female MC that has no friends in a sort of medieval setting. They meet a few sets of characters (I think 6?) all with different personalities and get the choice to romance any of them. But for those who didn't like romance, there was an option not to. Anyways- there was a whole complicated storyline about an opposing kingdom declaring war and stuff.
It was either this, or just a simple game with one character talking to the player. (Similar to that of Monika After Story)
I know how to. But only in Ren'py. Sorry if I'm late and you already found a solution!
Basically, you just put:
if num_notes > 145:
Then you can make different routes. the number of notes is in the beatmap at the end of the long one of decimals. (Basically the number at the start of the last string of numbers in the beatmap)
The '>' indicates 'more than'. If The player got more than the beat number you put in, then the will go that route. Similarly, you can put:
if num_notes < 145
Then players that got less than the number you put in would go the other route. You can do this with other objects too! Like affection points and stuff like that.
define points = 0
Put this before 'label start' if you want to use it for anything else.
I am sorry if this bothers you, but if you are looking for voice-acting or story-writing, I am up for it...! I can write reasonably well, and my imagination is very wide(due to my ability to remember my dreams). I can also mildly code in Ren'py, but you don't use that engine, so I won't press on it.
But, I can only work on weekends for school days, (January 06 to November 21) and on holidays. Also, I am quite young and don't have really any work experience other than selling artwork at school.
Please contact me if you are interested via this comment. I do have a Discord, but since I have close to 0 friends, I don't check it often. Thank you for reading my... offer. I hope you have a wonderful day!
May I point out that when you hold shift it slows you down? It's more than a bit annoying when I can't get over the final car in the minigame even though the car is on the other side of the road when I enter the game menu to see if it is okay to move forward. I mean- it's frustrating, and yes, I get that Wayne likes torturing people mentally, but at least make it a bit easier, ya' know?
... I'm sorry for my long complaint above. I know the last car is passable, but... the shift button doesn't work. So...
Anyway, good job! I like this game very much!
