sounds good! let us know what you think! :)

We haven't tested with the itch.io client. Maybe try downloading directly from the website?

We're glad you like them!

Probably not. Convert Invader has been changed to repel invader and no longer results in follower conversion, which was the corner stone of his strategy. This build should give you more freedom with your zeal though, so you have a bit more of a choice in how you play.

"I will throw a shit ton of people into a volcano! You don't even fucking know!" That's going as one of the tag lines when we show this off lol. Thanks for the review man, we always enjoy watching you. We've also posted an update if you want to give it another go. We did a major overhaul.

Thanks so much for playing! Really happy you liked it! If you want to give it another go, we just published an update with some pretty major changes.

Thank you!

might be something with your firewall or anti-virus

Thanks!

Thanks for checking it out! Loved watching your play through

It definitely needs a lot of balancing work, and ideally a better end state than entropic invaders for sure, that was just the easiest one we could make in time provided to make sure people weren't playing the game for an hour per run.  The higher your Zeal the easier it is to deal with those Invaders without taking any losses but also the less likely you are to add more followers, we could probably communicate its effects better to the player, but mathematically it does matter.  Also the higher you keep your Karma the less likely you are to get a bunch of invaders dropped on you at once so if you're not paying attention to either of those numbers you're likely to feel blindsided by the consequences, which again is part failure on our end to effectively communicate the exact consequences beyond the intro and help text.

Not sure what you felt was surviving a "long time" without any Score reference, but just to share some reference in testing the highest dev score was 856, and post submission the highest score I've seen was 1200.

Thanks for taking time to play and leave some feedback.  We appreciate it!

Thanks leafo :)

Hey all! Man does it suck living 45 minutes south of SF and STILL not able to go to GDC! Just couldn't get the time off work unfortunately.

Anyway, I'd like to announce our upcoming game

The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines

In the ancient kingdom of Ceanarth an organization known as the Ambassadors of Time protect the world from forthcoming catastrophes and escalating wars. As a low level Ambassador, Gregor, you’ll investigate a disturbance emanating from the Ambassador’s stronghold, the Basilica. Using your time stopping abilities, you will solve puzzles, outsmart enemies, and explore an unknown world in this arduous twin-stick shooter.

In The Ambassador you will:

  • Stop time to evade, confuse, and defeat your enemies
  • Explore an foreign landscape composed of fortresses, mountains, cities, and forests, spanning across two timelines
  • Collect an armory of weapons and armor, each more unique than the last
  • Enjoy fluid combat through an Xbox 360/One controller or mouse and keyboard on Windows

Play the demo here:

The Ambassador Demo

Thanks for checking it out! It sucks not being at GDC but we gotta make the best of it :)

Hi everyone! We're new to the itch.io community but so far its been a blast! We have recently released a demo for our game The Ambassador and would love to have people play it. The Ambassador is a twin-stick shooter where your every action has a consequence. There are no right or wrong decisions, just good or bad outcomes. You can check it out here: The Ambassador Demo!

We intend to release around December of this year on itch.io and steam. We hope you guys enjoy trying it out. Here's just a small amount of game play!
