That's some real BS and completely on their part.

I, for one, really liked that you talked about the difference between player and protagonist agency. It can go unnoticed when a player makes a character that's not reflective of themselves, but can get really problematic otherwise. Especially in a space where representation is already slim pickings.

I just wanted to say thank you for creating such beautiful pieces for your games and also to applaud you on the quality of work you're able to do as a solo dev.

A bit of an aside, but as a (teeny) music geek, I really enjoyed your post on Tumblr about the how you go about using motifs in the character themes. I think it really just ties together how much thought, care, and detail you put into so many aspects of your games.

Thank you for what you do! :)

Thank you for this delightful game. A lot of care and warmth went into this game and it certainly shows. I can't wait to see what you do with the upcoming characters. :D

I also wanted to let you know of a couple things I found during my playthrough:

  • A text error I found: after making the danish pastry, Juniper's line, "... Did you peak when I wasn't looking?" I'm guessing it probably should be "peek" instead.
  • In the options menu, "quit" doesn't respond. It doesn't highlight when scrolled over either.

Thank you so much for this lovely little gem. I can't wait to dig into your other works!

I also wanted to let you know about a couple pronoun inconsistencies I came across during my Modesta playthrough:

  • Near the beginning, shortly after meeting her, "... holding the bottle of unfinished liquor to his chest like a toddler would a toy."
  • After encountering the specter, you run into her outside, "... you drag Modesta to the closest empty chamber you can find, placing him on the bed."
