For anyone on the fence looking to the comments to see if it's worth it to invest your precious time and hard drive space for an unfinished visual novel, go no further - it is 100% worth it.
Crimson High is my favorite linear visual novel I've ever experienced, and it's updated regularly enough that you're never waiting too long for the next chunk of story - though Vert is a master of ending every update with a horrible cliffhanger that hooks you in and makes 100% sure that you'll be waiting for that next sweet, sweet update.
For anyone looking for lots of H-content, there currently is a decent amount, though it is decently spaced out to make way for tons of beautiful worldbuilding, wholesome moments, romantic scenes, and plenty of character building.
Quoth best girl.
This is absolutely outstanding so far! I was apprehensive about downloading, because at first I didn't care for how the character models looked, but eventually I got used to them, and I'm glad I did, because this story is shaping up to be great! I can't wait for the next release, and I'm definitely hoping that there's maybe a scene involving Olivia and Sam in the future, if you know what I mean ;3c
I'm so grumpy haha I downloaded this the day before it updated - finished it in about two days of playing. The cliffhanger had me so bad in v.16 that I had to come back and get v.17 which I already knew was out. I'm REALLY enjoying this so far, and with how often your updates are, I'm definitely hoping you don't run out of steam anytime soon! It's not every day you actually see a game posting monthly updates.
Just finished my first run through! Made it to age 17 before the dragon killed me. I was so close, too! Got it down to 7 health and it did JUST barely enough damage to kill my last dwarf. Had 36 prestige by the end, along with about 23 coins, a gemstone, and a mithril that I couldn't use because the dragon snuck up my mine and blocked off my mithril forge. All in all, I had a great time, and this was well worth the $5!
