Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback :)

Glad you liked it and thank you for the feedback! With more time I may have added features such as coins, achievements etc however, as a one-man team, there was only so much I could get done in the short time frame for the jam. May update it in future however :)

Really fun game! Love how each character adds something to the music and it all layers up perfectly. The music itself is so enjoyable too! Very relaxing :) no complaints with this one, its awesome!

Thank you GoblinHat! Great to hear your feedback :)

Thank you so much!! Glad you like it :)

Great game guys! Easy to learn but gets quite challenging by the last level! Took me a few tries xD You got so much work done too given the time frame!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! Yeah, I wanted to make an in-game tutorial but ran out of time unfortunately so I'll have to add it in later after the jam has been reviewed :)

Hello, everyone! We greatly appreciate you playing our game and hope you have fun!

BLAZE has just been released! 😃🎮 PLAY FOR FREE now by visiting :
https://tommy-eaves-games.itch.io/blaze

Blaze is an action-packed arcade shoot 'em up game where, rather than shooting your enemies, you BOOST your ship into them at full speed to smash them to pieces! You can also SHOOT bullets out the back of your ship to destroy the missiles chasing your tail! However, being hit by enemy firearms or overusing your abilities will cause your ship to OVERHEAT in the blaze and explode! Achieve the highest scores by chaining kills and destroying enemies in quick succession.

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoy playing Blaze!

Hi BobGames1215, I’m glad you like the game! In a future update, I will add the ability to flip the controls (alternative control schemes) and maybe update the UI too. Also, I should mention that the particles were made using the Ultimate VFX toolkit by Mirza Beig (here’s a link: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/particles/ultimate-vfx-26701). I’ll add this to the main project description too. Thanks again!
