Hey thanks for playing the game :D I agree I definitely needed another day or two to iron out UI and Sound as I barely even finished the story where it left off. I'm glad to hear the feedback though, I plan to fix all of this for the 2nd chapter.
Oh yeah shoot I probably specified it on the store page but this game does not contain jump scares.
I know a lot of people who can't handle jump scares for one reason or another so I've decided to omit them so that anyone could enjoy this game. This game gains it's horror from the writing and environment.

Look this comment section is filled with some avid fans of the game, if you just bluntly say that without justification you’re getting death threats tbh
I mean the update was rushed… ish. Most of the time Hatchet was gone wasn’t spent making the update they were dealing with life stuff. This update came out when it did because they felt it had been too long since another update and it would be unacceptable for the update to take longer.
In all likelihood, this update would’ve (and in my opinion should’ve) had more time to bake. But Y’know obligations
I would say Hatchet owes you nothing, and likely unless you support the patron they don’t. But I think it’s important for everyone to understand that there are a substantial amount of people who are financially supporting the game. To those people Hatchet does have an obligation to deliver a quality product.
I am not one of those people so I won’t really state my opinion on the update but I have faith that now Hatchet will clean up anything that needs polishing and make more content consistently.

Look mate, if I’m going to be honest with you, I wasn’t a huge fan of the update either. The art wasn’t updated with the Maeve design, there were a couple typos, some of the new scenes (Jade and Maeve) were… lackluster?
The problem with how you did it was that you loudly and rudely just said the game was bad, just because it didn’t tickle your tiny child diddling writer cock. What you said was in no way constructive. Also, for someone so “intellectual” you seem to be unaware of the fact the world isn’t just the US. Everyone will be so happy for you the first time you look at a map and see that a majority of the world doesn’t belong to an English speaking country.
