As of today, the game "should" work with steam deck. There was a SHMUP creator update allowing it.

As per the SC dev: You may have to enable Proton for your game (Properties > Compatibility > Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool).

I don't think there is a reliable way to make games made with the engine work on Steam deck right now, sorry.

This will be expanded/modified if needed.

I don't gain multiplier against a boss when in hyper:
If you die against a boss, subsequent hyper can't add to the multiplier. This is known and only in stages. Boss training and TLB shouldn't be affected.

Windows doesn't recognise the executable:
Don't worry too much about it.

It's hard!:
Is it? Practice, don't give up.

Good start, looks nice and fast.

I got consistently to the first boss without loosing life and consistently got wrecked by the second stage, I might be too slow to react.

Right now:

- Bullets animations make them a bit weird on the eye? (probably a bit too fast)

- There is no real incentive to leave the bottom of the screen as power up slowly descend.

- Wide shot feel way too strong as a result, Boss1 being large doesn't help either.

- Enemies not killed keep firing outside of the screen, again in favor of wide shot.

- Stage 2 bullets are way faster than the player speed, if you add the fact that the enemies fire outside the screen, it doesn't feel very good to play at the moment.
