I just saw the update and want to jump in, but I do not want to redownload and restart. Is there any way currently to download just the update and keep the save file?

How  do i get past the rocks in the mine, I thought the zeta form would let me past but the same dialogue says I cannot. Am i missing something?

I am liking the game, but I have found it frustrating without an autosave feature. Is there any plans to implement one
