Community feedback will definitely drive the direction of the development. In the nearest updates I plan to expand the core of the game to allow the player more fun and freedom in the sandbox. Objectives and shop will definitely help to give some direction and purpose, but I'll need to see what works and what doesn't :)

The thing about the current state of development is that the game changes fast and by a quite big magnitude at times. The free version serves as a demo to showcase to the player what the game can and cannot do to help them decide whether they want to support it. As such it needs to be as representative as possible, so keeping it just one version behind might already not qualify, that's why I opted for the limited feature approach.
But I assume when the project reaches a certain maturity and enters a comfortable beta, where more content access is the main driver for a paid version. Then, it would make sense to switch to the delayed model :)
Cheers~!
Hi, thank you for the review, I'll be doing my best to steadily bring out the improvements into the game!
The alpha stage of development is all about searching the right ideas. I see the need for more clarity on what each item does and how to play and I'll be prioritizing that in the next updates down the line :) Tooltips and a journal will hopefully make their way into the game.
The "satellite hypno guns" do a bodyswap :P and I see that a tooltip could fix up the confusion here.
Cheers~!
Hi, sorry for late response.
Thanks for the feedback, I've checked out the game you mentioned, hopefully the project will grow to the size that matches my ambitions one day :3
Can't promise muzzles in the nearest future since those are out of scope for the alpha, but I agree that could be a nice addition.
The character movement will be addressed in an update reworking the NPC's and interactions with them
I'm working on the performance and more quality options for the user, they'll enter the public build soon~!
