It's in the works ;)

Thanks for the feedback. This is sort of a rough-draft of what I have so far, so there will be changes. I'm guessing there is some weird fade-out and fade-in stuff that's off on the the Steam Deck. I got to work on that. And did I really write "you're confidence"? I must have been tired lol. Will have to go through and clean some of this up at some point.

There is a trick to escaping the first room. I believe there is a clue on the third day in the cell, (dont want to give it away just yet). I'll have to look at the bug. Thanks!

What's irritating about the controller?

Yeah, sorry bout that. I looked into it and was able to get it fixed, but it won't be fixed in the current demo at the moment. Thanks for letting me know.

I'll be making video updates on this youtube channel if you want to follow there.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCV8sd7_itDf97yclwFxNaXA

Although gorefield is not in the demo, i will go ahead and say that there are plans for a gorefield type boss in the full game :)

One is a stand alone exe file that will install and run the game , the other is a zip file that has to have the files unzipped. I think the 40 mb one is the stand alone exe, and the 27 mb one is the zip file.

I would if I could, but I don't have the skills to do that.  Sorry :/ perhaps in the future, but for the time being there is only the pc version.

This was just a demo, there was no credits sequence. I'll have a shout out to lumpy in the credits as I did in the first game.

Yes it is the full version, not sure why I called it a beta version lol

A horror puzzle game with a game-boy aesthetic.

Sorry, at this point in time I'm only able to make games for pc. Maybe in the future.

There shouldn't be any viruses malware or trojans... at least I didn't put any in there. It was built in gamemaker studio 2, if that helps.

No problem ;)

No, it was made in gamemaker studio 2

Good to know, hope you enjoy :)

I would, but this game was created in gamemaker studio 2.

They are pretty much the same, one has the files compressed into a zip file and the other is a stand alone exe file.

Place the tnt on the carpets and below the piano on the three floors

Press up while next to the elevator panel in the elevator.  That will open the elevator menu where up and down will select the floor, right will take you to that floor, and left will exit the elevator menu.

I would say run it with windows 10, I'm not sure what else you could do to fix that. Check the options maybe and make sure the volume isn't turned down there, otherwise maybe there was something wrong with the download, so maybe try redownloading.

the update for the demo had some updated graphics on a few of the floors and some minor bug fixes, like the moon walk glitch.

Thank you, I'll look into it and see if I can fix that.

probably not, maybe in the distant future

ok, makes sense. I'll see what I can do for the next update

I might be able to add that option in the full release. Is there a reason why you would want a window mode?

I'm not sure if they accept games made in an engine that isn't unreal. I'd have to look into it. I am thinking about releasing the game on steam, but that's in the future.

game maker studio 2

At the moment, probably not.  I'm building the game on windows and it looks like I would need to actually own a mac to be able to build a port.

It's sorta up in the air right now, maybe several months, depending on if there is enough of a demand for a game like this.  Thank you for playing the game, were you able to solve the puzzle and finish the first part?
