I would be interested in joining you all for making a visual novel. I love working with fantasy and spooky stuff. Especially if you are making it work in unreal engine instead of renpy. I know enough programing in renpy to try and tackle things on my own, but I joined an unreal engine group a couple of months ago and hoping to learn that system. Unreal does a better job of protecting the graphical and audio assets.
one of you is a strong writer, one is strong with the programming. I could help with the visuals/or some audio.
for visuals I have a local install for stable diffusion with custom mods and can edit/fix things with clip studio paint. But I also drew my profile pic without ai.
for voice work I have a local install of coqui tts, voice .ai, audacity and a mid tier jlab mic with pop filter.
I honestly will have more time up front with the long weekend ahead of us. then once the work week starts, I will only be able to commit about 3 hours a night. So my goal will be to do the heavy lifting at the start of the jam and then add more edits afterwards.

Hi, I'm Tremorfireheart and I tinker with game tutorials, but mostly I am a 2d type artist. tremorfireheart - Hobbyist, General Artist | DeviantArt , https://www.instagram.com/tremorfireheart/ .
I tried to do a game jam once. I thought I would use renpy to make a whole visual novel in 10 days by myself. The person I was supposed to work with bailed at the last minute. I thought screw it ill just do it all! I bit off more than I could chew.
I understanding the basics and constructs of coding (visual basic) just not in a language that is usually used for game making. I followed a unity tutorial and altered the process a bit and created a game about a cat knocking down Christmas ornaments.
I know a bit about
-Voice Acting
-Video Editing
- Ai generation- which might be useful for spit balling ideas and concepts. But I don't want to put ai into the final project.
-2d animation
-3d animation
-story writing - i'm not great but I did well enough to get paid for it before.
