En Garde! is such a great game, and I never even heard of it until I found it while browsing Steam one day. It's a soulslike comedy game where you play a woman named Adalia, taking on a corrupt Count Duke. A big part of the game is environmental combat, and in my opinion it's one of the rare comedy games that's actually funny.
Do yourself a favor and play this game right now! It might be my favorite game of the year so far (yes, really).
An excellent old-school RPG with a unique premise and characters. The gameplay is a bit stale and well-worn, but it works. This is the kind of game you're going to want to play for the experience, the plot, and those characters. Still, there's a lot to do here - it's a long game with side quests, bonus mini-games, and a lot of characters to recruit to your party.
We can all agree that 2020 was a bleak year for reasons you don’t need me to remind you of. Yet 2020 has been an exceptional year for gaming – both indie and AAA alike. The sad irony though is that many fantastic games go unnoticed or forgotten. That’s what Indie Games You Missed is for, a series where I highlight the best and most interesting indie games released every month that you probably didn’t notice.
Here are all the games in the video you can find on Itch.io!

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing great this spooky time of year! September is long gone, but the games released that month here on Itch remain, and thank goodness. There have been some great ones, starting with:
Glitched - an old-school RPG similar to Undertale, but with its own unique style. Even though this is only a demo, this is honestly one of the best RPGs I've ever played. The writing, the combat, the world are all so well-done for a game that's not even finished yet I can't believe it! Similar to the book Mogworld, the game is about a random NPC who, thanks to a glitch, is now the protagonist...
Delta Gal - This is a Mega Man Legends fan game, and while I feel like I don't really need to say any more than that, I'm going. Again, this is a demo, in a much earlier state than Glitched, but it captures the feeling of a 90s 3D action adventure game perfectly. From the aesthetics to the gameplay, this really does feel like the Mega Man Legends 3 we never got.Love Shore - A visual novel set in a cyberpunk dystopia, this is another demo for an upcoming game. Created by a diverse group of developers, Love Shore uses an equally diverse and radical cast to tell an otherwise familiar story, making it feel fresh and unique in its own right. Play one of two protagonists, each with their own storylines and love interests.I hope you enjoyed those games, because I certainly did. There's a lot of great, unique games coming up, and you can bet Triple Eye will continue to cover as many as we can! Thanks for watching!
Glitched is a fantastic game with a really unique concept. Funded on Kickstarter in August 2016 for over $68,000, a demo for Glitched hit Itch.io last week. Having played it for a couple of hours, I'm already convinced this is the best game I've played so far this year. The depth of writing, interesting characters and plot, and the fourth-wall breaking in Glitched makes this a stand-out game. Do yourself a favor and go play the demo right now!
Thanks for watching, and be sure to give this game a chance. After taking a month off, Triple Eye is back to find and recommend (or at least talk about) the best and most interesting indie games! July was a busy month with some big releases, as well as some games I wanted to talk about that I don't necessarily recommend. Watch the video below to find out why, but the games featured this month are:

Indie Games You Missed is back for June 2020. Last month was an incredibly hectic month for us all for any number of reasons, so no one can blame you for missing out on a lot of great games released last month. It was a busy month for me, certainly. I played dozens of indie games released on Itch.io and Steam last month, and I came away with 9 that I think are (or could be) really special.

It was quite the hectic month, May 2020, and June looks to be even more crazy. But for now, we'll cast our eyes back to last month and take a look at all the great indie games you missed then. Not too many games this time, but what is here is of really high quality.

I think SUPERSTRING summarizes it perfectly. Hundreds of indie games are released on Itch.io alone everyday. If you're looking to get rich and/or famous off making indie games today, you might as well not even bother. But if it's something you're interested in doing because you have a passion for gaming, give it a go. Maybe you will see a little bit of financial success, too.
April was a busy month for indie games this year. It seems like every game jam that's ever existed or ever will exit either started, ended, or ran through the month. Perhaps that's a result of half of the world being in quarantine. Perhaps that's just the luck of the draw. Either way, I must have played close to 50 or 60 Itch.io games alone throughout the month, and there were a lot of really good ones. But with careful consideration and the help of my dog, I was able to whittle that list down to the 10 best and most interesting games of the month.

Hey folks, another month, another group of indie games you probably missed. With all that's going on in the world right now, it's the perfect time to huddle around your computer and play some neat indie games to take your mind off the horrors. Unfortunately, there weren't that many standouts in March, at least in my opinion. Still, there are some worth mentioning:
PanCom Os:

Toasty:

Thanks again as always for putting up with my terrible posts, and remember to check these games out. And wash your hands!
In case you missed it, the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc is really awesome. It's a collection of 17 different horror games, all sharing the theme of being styled after PS1 games. That is to say, they're all inspired by PS1 horror classics like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fear Effect, and many more. They play like PS1 games, look like PS1 games, and are scarier than just about any modern horror games thanks to their graphical and gameplay limitations, but still incorporate modern polish.
Another great thing about this compilation is that many of these demos are already available on Itch as separate downloads. So I took a look at every game, and found that nine of them really stand out above the rest. Those are:
Effigy
https://redactgames.itch.io/effigy
Sauna 2000
https://moyahorror.itch.io/sauna2000
Tasty Ramen
https://siactro.itch.io/tasty-ramen
Until Biglight
https://cathroon.itch.io/until-biglight
Snowy Castle Game (not on Itch.io yet)
https://twitter.com/donutcove
Ode to a Moon
https://colorfiction.itch.io/odetoamoon
Dread Delusion
https://lovelyhellplace.itch.io/dread-delusion
Heartworm
https://vradinolfi.itch.io/heartworm
Fatum Betula (not on Itch.io yet)

These nine games all either do something truly unique, or feature the most polish and most intriguing gameplay/stories. But all the games in this compilation are worth playing for one reason or another, even the ones I personally didn't like.
If you want to see why I chose those games, you can check out my video below. Thanks for reading/watching!
