Billie Bust Up is one of seven incredible upcoming 3D platformers. For more info on the game and the other great platformers, check out my video!

En Garde! is such a great game, and I never even heard of it until I found it while browsing Steam one day. It's a soulslike comedy game where you play a woman named Adalia, taking on a corrupt Count Duke.  A big part of the game is environmental combat, and in my opinion it's one of the rare comedy games that's actually funny.

Do yourself a favor and play this game right now! It might be my favorite game of the year so far (yes, really).

Hey all, it's Josh with this year's version of upcoming 3D Platformers to keep an eye on. The genre is steadily picking up steam in both indie and AAA circles, and there have been a lot of games to look forward to.

An excellent old-school RPG with a unique premise and characters. The gameplay is a bit stale and well-worn, but it works. This is the kind of game you're going to want to play for the experience, the plot, and those characters. Still, there's a lot to do here - it's a long game with side quests, bonus mini-games, and a lot of characters to recruit to your party.

I really enjoyed this game! I covered it in my Indie Games You Missed series, if anyone wants to hear about the wild success of the game and what makes it so special.

We can all agree that 2020 was a bleak year for reasons you don’t need me to remind you of. Yet 2020 has been an exceptional year for gaming – both indie and AAA alike. The sad irony though is that many fantastic games go unnoticed or forgotten. That’s what Indie Games You Missed is for, a series where I highlight the best and most interesting indie games released every month that you probably didn’t notice.

Here are all the games in the video you can find on Itch.io!

Itch.io is such an incredible website with a ton of great games. I can say without hesitation or hyperbole that my job would be a lot harder without it and its incredible creators and community. I want to thank all of you for letting me make these videos and sharing these incredible games. Here's hoping 2021 is even better.

Have you noticed how Among Us kinda came out of nowhere? Well, it was actually released back in June 2018 on mobile, and a few months after for Steam and here on Itch. You can watch the full story behind how this game got so popular so fast in my latest video.

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing great this spooky time of year! September is long gone, but the games released that month here on Itch remain, and thank goodness. There have been some great ones, starting with:

Glitched - an old-school RPG similar to Undertale, but with its own unique style. Even though this is only a demo, this is honestly one of the best RPGs I've ever played. The writing, the combat, the world are all so well-done for a game that's not even finished yet I can't believe it! Similar to the book Mogworld, the game is about a random NPC who, thanks to a glitch, is now the protagonist...

Delta Gal - This is a Mega Man Legends fan game, and while I feel like I don't really need to say any more than that, I'm going. Again, this is a demo, in a much earlier state than Glitched, but it captures the feeling of a 90s 3D action adventure game perfectly. From the aesthetics to the gameplay, this really does feel like the Mega Man Legends 3 we never got.
Love Shore - A visual novel set in a cyberpunk dystopia, this is another demo for an upcoming game. Created by a diverse group of developers, Love Shore uses an equally diverse and radical cast to tell an otherwise familiar story, making it feel fresh and unique in its own right. Play one of two protagonists, each with their own storylines and love interests.
I hope you enjoyed those games, because I certainly did. There's a lot of great, unique games coming up, and you can bet Triple Eye will continue to cover as many as we can! Thanks for watching!

There's definitely potential here, but the translation needs a lot of work. A lot of typos and sentences that don't make sense. Still, I'm going to keep my eye on this going forward.

Glitched is a fantastic game with a really unique concept. Funded on Kickstarter in August 2016 for over $68,000, a demo for Glitched hit Itch.io last week. Having played it for a couple of hours, I'm already convinced this is the best game I've played so far this year. The depth of writing, interesting characters and plot, and the fourth-wall breaking in Glitched makes this a stand-out game. Do yourself a favor and go play the demo right now!

Thanks for watching, and be sure to give this game a chance.

After taking a month off, Triple Eye is back to find and recommend (or at least talk about) the best and most interesting indie games! July was a busy month with some big releases, as well as some games I wanted to talk about that I don't necessarily recommend. Watch the video below to find out why, but the games featured this month are:

As always thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed the video. Be sure to always keep an eye out for great indie games, let me know if I missed anything, and thanks for watching.

Indie Games You Missed is back for June 2020. Last month was an incredibly hectic month for us all for any number of reasons, so no one can blame you for missing out on a lot of great games released last month. It was a busy month for me, certainly. I played dozens of indie games released on Itch.io and Steam last month, and I came away with 9 that I think are (or could be) really special.

Thanks for watching, and have a great day!

Well, didn't expect to see this pop up on Itch the day before my birthday.

It was quite the hectic month, May 2020, and June looks to be even more crazy. But for now, we'll cast our eyes back to last month and take a look at all the great indie games you missed then. Not too many games this time, but what is here is of really high quality.

There were also a couple of Steam games (as evidenced by the thumbnail) but since this is Itch.io, I won't post the links here. But yeah, a solid month of titles this month of indie games you missed. I hope you enjoyed, and thanks for checking out my video!

Gorgeous art. Kinda reminds me of Rayman Origins.

I think SUPERSTRING summarizes it perfectly. Hundreds of indie games are released on Itch.io alone everyday. If you're looking to get rich and/or famous off making indie games today, you might as well not even bother. But if it's something you're interested in doing because you have a passion for gaming, give it a go. Maybe you will see a little bit of financial success, too.

That wallpaper reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen, and I don't even know what her kitchen looked like.

Interesting. How long have you been working on this?

April was a busy month for indie games this year. It seems like every game jam that's ever existed or ever will exit either started, ended, or ran through the month. Perhaps that's a result of half of the world being in quarantine. Perhaps that's just the luck of the draw. Either way, I must have played close to 50 or 60 Itch.io games alone throughout the month, and there were a lot of really good ones. But with careful consideration and the help of my dog, I was able to whittle that list down to the 10 best and most interesting games of the month.

I would like to thank everyone for checking out my recommendations, and as always, thank the indie developers who made this video possible.  There were a lot of great games released this month, and its a shame I couldn't show them all off. Ya'll are great.

Is development of this still going on? It looks promising, but I was waiting for the final version to play it.

Really love the concept, but there are a lot of issues to iron out involving the physics and feeling of momentum. I left some detailed feedback for you in the survey. Not to get too down on you, I hope you stick with it because there are some good ideas here for sure.

Do you swallow the sea... or does the sea swallow you?

Absolutely loved the demo! If you love 3D platformers, you should check this prototype out people!

Love the new demo so far, but man, this game is BEGGING for controller support.

I've never played Boktai before, but I stumbled on this demo today and I loved it! Great job, I'm looking forward to the final game.

Really interesting concept, I enjoyed it a lot!

The UFO looks a lot like the UFO in Part Time UFO. Was this inspired by that, or is it a coincidence?

I absolutely adore the look of this game. The bright pastel colors and the weird looking characters really makes this something special!

I really, really hope someone makes a collection of upcoming 3D platformers and stylizes it just like this. That would be so great.

The game really does look great, doesn't it?

Really interesting and cinematic, great work!

I demand a waffle-related spin-off.

Neat idea, but takes a little too long to get coins I think. By the time I get any, I've lost most of my health. This could be great with a little balance adjusting, and maybe a little more polish.

The motion blur made this unplayable for me. Too extreme, there needs to be a way to turn it off.

Hey folks, another month, another group of indie games you probably missed. With all that's going on in the world right now, it's the perfect time to huddle around your computer and play some neat indie games to take your mind off the horrors.  Unfortunately, there weren't that many standouts in March, at least in my opinion. Still, there are some worth mentioning:

PanCom Os:
https://hyohnoo.itch.io/pancomos

Toasty:
https://pocketllama.itch.io/toasty

Umurangi Generation:
https://veselekov.itch.io/umurangi-generation-demo

Peaks of Yore:
https://andosdev.itch.io/peaks-of-yore

Thanks again as always for putting up with my terrible posts, and remember to check these games out. And wash your hands!

Really love the idea of a fishing horror game, which isn't something I thought I'd ever say.

In case you missed it, the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc is really awesome. It's a collection of 17 different horror games, all sharing the  theme of being styled after PS1 games. That is to say, they're all inspired by PS1 horror classics like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fear Effect, and many more. They play like PS1 games, look like PS1 games, and are scarier than just about any modern horror games thanks to their graphical and gameplay limitations, but still incorporate modern polish.

Another great thing about this compilation is that many of these demos are already available on Itch as separate downloads. So I took a look at every game, and found that nine of them really stand out above the rest. Those are:

Effigy
https://redactgames.itch.io/effigy

Sauna 2000
https://moyahorror.itch.io/sauna2000

Tasty Ramen
https://siactro.itch.io/tasty-ramen

Until Biglight
https://cathroon.itch.io/until-biglight

Snowy Castle Game (not on Itch.io yet)
https://twitter.com/donutcove

Ode to a Moon
https://colorfiction.itch.io/odetoamoon

Dread Delusion
https://lovelyhellplace.itch.io/dread-delusion

Heartworm
https://vradinolfi.itch.io/heartworm

Fatum Betula (not on Itch.io yet)
https://twitter.com/BryceBucher

These nine games all either do something truly unique, or feature the most polish and most intriguing gameplay/stories. But all the games in this compilation are worth playing for one reason or another, even the ones I personally didn't like.

If you want to see why I chose those games, you can check out my video below. Thanks for reading/watching!
