Oh wow, thank you so much for the detailed write-up! I really appreciate it! I should be able to implement this feedback during late June or so, since I have time set aside for programming at that point, after I finish my education.

I'm glad you noticed Wainscott is gay - I wasn't sure if it was clear or not, I didn't want to make it a 'thing' since it isn't the focus of the game, but I'm happy it was clear enough from the hints given :)

As for hints - Would you be able to solve it, if I told you that you can make a cake when you are standing in the place where that sort of thing is usually carried out?

Really cute little game! I like that all the 'Emu' moves sound like stuff the Emus would actually do. The game document reads very clearly, and the moves are very funny to read out loud, especially the Emu side.

This is a good educational setup! Really like the whole 'wandering the continent' and really _showing_ how different the locations are by using character, boat, etc. It could be improved by adding a map that could be toggled on and off, and clearer boundaries over what goes where. Explaining some of the setup behind the revolution would be good for non-Cubans, too. Or maybe it was there, and I missed it.

The map looked good from what I could see. But without any intro, I have no historical background to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing. It's a fun theme though, hope you can finish it!

You could better the 'historic instruction' parts of the game by using a more readable font and making the text bigger. Maybe scroll, or have multiple pages.

That said, I really liked the graphics and the UI felt very authentic to what it must have been like to command. We often talk about 'epic battles' but seldom about the actual meat of the drama, which is usually the prep in front of it. The simple, cute anthro graphics also helped make the game more 'friendly' which made it easier to get into dealing with such a niche topic.

Thank you! :'D! As the artist I put a lot of work into the graphics, I'm amazed at what our writer and programmer did with the game. We do plan to release an updated version after the jam, with improved and new stuff.

This was really well-executed! The feeling came across really well, thanks to the uninterrupted riding controls. The darkness and lights gave it a very cozy feeling, which worked well for the whole secrecy atmosphere.

Is this made with Renpy? I'm very intrigued! Yaaay historical game! I can get Ren'py to run on a mac, but I need to know what engine is used before I purchase :)
