Good luck with the project! The bunny eldritch horror shopkeeper is already best character.

This was a surprising experience. Didn't know what to expect at first, but the vague controls and learn-by-experimentation approach actually turned out to be pretty fun. It took me a while to figure out how the notes associated with the particles, but it certainly gave a feeling of accomplishment once I got it solved. Nice game!
Had a lot of fun playing this demo! Exploration was enjoyable and had plenty of "ah-ha, I'm actually over here!" type reactions when finding new paths. Each new utility added a fun mechanic, and I like how several items had multiple uses.
I feel like I had almost completed it and was working on the raft challenge found just behind the starting home, when I somehow got the perfect combo of crashing the raft on the exact edge of the water and ended up immune to killboxes. Enemies could still hurt me, but water and pits had no effect.
Unfortunately when I walked through a room transition door, I became locked in place and was unable to move.
Sounds like you're on track. You'll want to develop the jar of acid, since it is needed for the other three endings. Not sure how much you've done, but you'll need to discover the water source (and block it) as well as explore the dark parts of the cave.
If I had to guess, it's probably the waiting mechanic that's getting you stuck. For example, waiting in the dark for your eyes to adjust so you can move forward. It takes a few seconds of not clicking anything. You'll need to do something similar when searching for the water source.
Let me know if you need more specific hints.
This was fun! Very charming style and interesting mechanics. I will be excited to see where you take this!
Minor feedback as you move to develop past this jam version:
> Wall jump? Swinging the paperclip after jumping while pressing movement into a wall seems to reset the ground detection, allowing the player to jump again. This wall jump is actually pretty easy and fun to pull off, but I don't think it was an intended game mechanic.
> Spider boss gets a tad repetitive. I did like its mechanics, pretty fun, but with only two moves it did end up dragging on for awhile. Maybe give it less cycles, or add more moves to keep it interesting?
> The string lasso was really fun but a bit hard to 'grab' at first. This is fine, but you could also let the lasso fire out directionally towards the closest pin if one is within range for faster gameplay.
Overall great work for a jam game! I'll be following.
This concept is such a great twist on remix. The cutscene art looks great, and the gameplay is fun once I stopped trying to rush to the exit and actually took my time like a stealth game. I would suggest possibly increasing the stun on the fireball though.
Bit of a bug alert, if you get caught on the first level, you can fall through the floor. This only happened once though on my first attempt, so I'm not sure how serious it is.
This game caught my eye, and right after loading in I can already tell that it is a type of game I will enjoy. However, I feel like I'm missing something. Walking outside the light gets me killed, so I assume I need to either expand the fire or bring it with me somehow, but I cannot find a way to do so. 'F' picks up items, but how do I then use them?
This depends a bit on your internet browser, but if you clear history and cookies it should wipe the save data from the game, resetting it. This will also clear any other save data from other online games as well, so keep that in mind. I should have added a full reset button, sorry about that.
Another option would be to use an incognito or private browsing window to play the game, which will give you a fresh start. This doesn't clear any other save data, but the downside is that you can't save your progress if you want to come back afterwards.
Sounds like you're actually almost there. There's one rope in the cliffs, one in the cave, and one in the cellar. It sounds like you need the one in the cellar, but that means that you beat the two headed monster without rebar, which is impressive (that fight is quite a bit easier with rebar).
The chest you haven't opened has a key that lets you unlock a safe in the cellar, which has the rope and rebar inside. You can find a hint to the chest combination upstairs which shows a similar but different puzzle with the solution. If you can figure out how the solution works, you can then use the same method on the chest. Otherwise, try googling "japanese visual multiplication" and you'll see the method I used.
Let me know if you're stuck on something else.
Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you're enjoying it. I'm not sure how many things you've collected so far, but the jar of acid is at least one item you'll need to get for any of the better endings. Try spending some time around the pond searching for the source if you haven't found it already. Also, the cave has a lot of important items inside if you can find a way to move the stones away from the entrance. Both inside the cave and at the pond have moments where you must just wait for a short while to have things appear, which is hinted at by certain comments in the text. (For example: It would be foolish to continue without letting my eyes adjust to the dark.)
If I've guessed wrong and you've already figured out those things I've mentioned, or if I was a bit too vague with my hints, let me know and I'd be happy to explain a bit more.
