this is untrue.
'yaoi otomes' do not exist. There can be games with elements of BOTH yaoi and otome (example- Our Life, a game where you can play as male or female) but unless you intend to add an option to play as a female character, which is the core of the otome genre, you cannot describe your game as an otome. it is a BL game, a yaoi game, or a romance visual novel. please stop redefining the term otome, there is no shame in calling your game a yaoi game, as that is what it is- please remove the otome tag.
PS: very top of the wikipedia article of otomes: An otome game (Japanese: 乙女ゲーム, Hepburn: otome gēmu, lit. "maiden game"), is a story-based video game that is targeted towards women. Generally one of the goals, besides the main idea/goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female main player character and one of the usually male, secondary lead characters.
(please note the phrase 'female main player character.')
