Hey people. I am currently working on a 2D platformer.
About Story
Nothing major but it is about a skeleton named Fred that awakened after decades. He is so hungry so he must get to the surface so he can eat but at first he doesn't realize that he isn't buried in a normal catacomb but a damned dungeon.
Currently I am using kourija's 16x16 skeleton sprite: https://kourija.itch.io/16x16-skeleton-character-idle-run-jump-hit-die
About Gameplay
I coded the fundamental parts: movement, horizontal moving platforms, simple patrolling enemies, pressure plates that make you jump higher, ladders, arrow shooters, doors with keys, pits. I am planning to make 20 to 25 levels (20 mandatory story levels 5 challenge based ones) Probably there will be one collectible (either skulls or bones) I am planning on 2 bosses.
