You could just add a slow walk function and leave the speed as is that way the player can adjust it as they see fit.

Never mind that, So far I've been enjoying your game, it has an intriguing story and a great everything has gone to hell vibe that I like. However, I'm struggling with the living amour boss in the mansion it would seem that once you do enough damage it becomes so quick you can't escape it. is there something I'm missing? am I just dumb? Also keep up the good work.

PS I think non-dash  base movement speed is too quick. 

Can I adjust The movement speed?
