Thanks for the feedback!

I’m a bit on a hiatus right now, but I hope to pump out a couple more this year.

Press the menu button ⊙ and the left portion of the screen shows the controls and the high score for the current mode in play.

Would you know if you have the v2 hardware? And is it firmware 2.4.2?

I have the v1 hardware and don’t get any issues when playing, even after clearing the game data.

Was this seen the very first time playing the game, or was this game played before with a previous high score already saved?

Thanks for the heads-up, I’ll try to look into this as soon as possible.

This is in line with the original G&W version and any other later releases. At a score of 280, the ball will start showing a ‘trace’ effect to make things  little harder.

Thanks for the download!

Manhole may or may not be planned… 🕳️

Keep a close eye in the next few days... 🤹‍♂️

Correct. The menu is limited to three items max (currently Game A, Game B, and Clock), so there was no available way for me to offer this as an option.

I think I have access to a variable that lets me know if the user set 12 or 24 hour on the Playdate itself, so I could in theory read this to adapt to the same setting.

I chose to stay true to the original G&W device that was using AM/PM with a 12-hour display.

Thanks!

There may or may not be something else coming… as long as I don’t drop the ball. 🤹

You may be thinking of the 'modern' gameplay from G&W Gallery on GB. This version intends to replicate the gameplay and behavior of the classic version from 1981 where there was no movement speed affected by weight / # of treasures collected. I believe the additional tentacle positions are also related to the same Modern version.

Thanks for the feedback!

Right back at ya! Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

instant thanks!

Excellently appreciated!

Thanks! It means a lot!

Octopus always had a special place in my heart ever since I played it on G&W Gallery on Game Boy. I'm happy to see that it still can be experienced in a different way.
