I'm glad you liked it!

Early on, I wanted that section to be a little longer + have lyrics for it as well. I decided against it, since I didn't like what I drafted up for it, but still wanted to incorporate it in somehow.

Thanks. I think recording my voice was probably the part of this I was the most nervous about, since I don't have a lot of experience with live recording in general, but overall I'm glad I tried. Perhaps once the judging period is over I'll go back and rerecord.

Really nice soundtrack overall!! My personal favorites of the bunch are 'Ballad of the Lost Bard' and 'Ripple Memory Finished'

if that is meant to be the music that plays for this Dragon's Breath move you mention, then consider me hyped

Dang why did you have to make start tearing up like that.

I really enjoyed this. An excellent choice in sound font, and I was really caught in the atmosphere of the piece.

This was a nice game. I especially liked how it ended, since it validated my concerns through most second round of finding things for the potion, when I ended up sacrificing things I really didn't want to sacrifice to try and get the temperature right. I also really liked the fact that you could consider choosing things that go over the target temperature, and then use cold items to bring it back down.

Thanks for the advice. When I started developing the game, the movement actually was faster than what you see now, but it was also at odds with the camera. Ideally, I would've had the camera show things further ahead of Briquette as you moved through the level. But since this was the first time I even made a camera object, I opted to have it move to keep the player dead in the center, which forced me to make my platforming challenges more separated from each other and compact, such that it required only a little movement from the camera to fully grasp the full picture of the challenge. As a result, the speed was also reduced.

As for the time it takes to charge, I also agree that it would also help. Ultimately, I want to improve Briquette's movement and challenges such that there aren't as many pace-breakers.

Same to you. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

Thank you for the suggestion. I do intend to improve and expand on this game. And though I haven't played Super Meat Boy, the game definitely crossed my mind as I was making this.

That is actually a pretty cool idea. Thanks for the suggestion. And I'm glad you enjoy being able to speed boost. Getting those types of jumps to work was probably the most difficult part of programming Briquette's movement, and even then I think there is more to be done.

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it

Thank you. Funny enough, wall jumping and timed challenges were things I thought about while I was making this, just didn't really know how to fully implement it with what I had. That being said, I do intend to work more on the game and those will probably be included as mechanics once I do.
