I've played for around 2 hours and a half so far, on and off, because it's always frustrating to fall down because of the lag spike. Otherwise, even failing and falling down on the mysterious goo for my own fault doesn't make the game frustrating and I immediately start a run again.

The art style, gameplay and concept beautifully compliment each other, creating an experience that not only is fun mechanically (a gravity puzzle with resource management? hell yeah) but is also visually satisfying.

The art direction is flawless, and I have absolutely nothing else of value to add apart from that. Sound design creates a very nice and fitting atmosphere which reinforces the almost claustrophobic feeling of climbing up huge and spatious vertical pipes and towers. There are no weird sounds that feel out of place and no sounds that I felt were missing.

I have only two complaints and they are quite small.

One is that I'd love to have subtitles for the loudspeaker announcer. In case that the absence of subtitles is a conscious choice, I understand. Seems like you're leaning hard on the invisible HUD and I respect and like it. In that case I would be more than happy if we could adjust in the future between different audio sliders and not just the master one. As a second-speaker of English I struggle with low volume voices, and the announcer does get drown out by the ambience and your movements. Unless you stop to listen, which although noble is quite risky. Considering the circumstances.

The last thing is that some voicelines seem to be triggered by checkpoints of sorts? And I'm not sure if it's computing the checkpoint or loading the audio file but I always get a lag spike. I'm running the game at a respectable and enjoyable 25-30 FPS but some of these lag spikes can last up to a second and a half, which surprises me. I've never developed a game so I don't know if the issue is solely on my end or just a quirky line of code. I'd love a couple more graphical options so I could have a smoother but rougher looking playing experience.

I haven't seen everything yet, I've only ever gotten to 450 m or something because one of those lag spikes will inevitably happen when I'm switching hands, making me lose grip and falling into the devious goo that rises up.

My only two complaints are (I hope) very small and very common in demos, so they're not deal-breakers at all. I am definitely buying this game when it comes out, have no doubt.

This is a child from the USA, in many schools they give them a Chromebook for schoolwork but most kids end up using them just for games/youtube. And many of them come to itch.io asking for extremely low-demanding  versions of games, you'll see more of them

When you start the game it gives an error. "The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)". Is this on my end or yours?

I feel like a pause button is necessary
