Hey, sorry for a late reply.
I recommend using Chrome or Firefox, as these browsers have better compatibility with the game's engine. Safari is known to be problematic, unfortunatelly.
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I'm still working on the game, but nowadays I barely have time to do any serious progress. I'm currently finishing the upcoming Patreon build. After that I'm gonna tinker a bit more with one of the previous updates (as there's something I really want to alter there) and all the missing content will be released as one big update for public.
It goes like this:
On Day3, during breakfast: Rowley learns from Angus that ~some polar bear~ was hitting on Welkin (and that Welkin doesn't remember anything from that).
On Day3, during lunch: Welkin tells Angus that he saw Arthur in town, but since Rowley knows the bear as Wallace, at the time, he can't connect the dots that they're in fact talking about his old friend.
On Day4: when they met in front of the hotel, Rowley is happy to see *Wallace*. He then finds out that his actual name is Arthur, and finally gets the full picture that this is the polar bear they were talking about earlier. Having that in mind, he then later in the bar starts asking Arthur questions about what actually happened between him and Welkin the last night (as Angus never told the details).
Hello, sorry for such a late reply.
So far the game's story is very straightforward, mostly due to the engine and it lack of quick progression through the read/unread dialogue. With that said, I still plan to make the last day of each route to have a few dialogue choices that will determine the ending (we'll see how it's gonna turn out :))
One of my friends just confirmed that he also has problem playing the game on iPhone (it doesn't seem to recognize the input), so I think it's safe to say that the iOS is not supported after all. It's sad news for me too, because I was really hoping that this version will allow everyone to enjoy the game regardless of the platform, but unfortunatelly, it is what it is.
Thank you for your time, and I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience.
Hey, Aro. I don't have any control of what library the launcher uses - at least not from the RPG Maker side. And since I never worked with Linux, i have zero knowledge how to fix these stuff. Are those library files should be placed in the folder with the game? Which exactly are missing (just the two you mentioned?).
Hey! Sorry for such a late reply - the game just got updated.
I'm happy to hear you like Welkin so much. Usually, VNs put readers in the shoes of a blank-slate protagonist, or someone we're supposed to pretend we're playing as, but with Welkin, I always wanted him to be his own character, with a personality different from the other three.
Sometimes I think, it would be cool to see a chapter (or maybe a short side game?) from a perspective of some other character, so we could interact with Welkin as well :-)
It should work if the save is from recent version (2,3 demos before the current one). I don't reccomend doing it, but if you do, please let me know how it went :-)
The option I do reccomend, however, is starting the game via "New Game" and then selecting "Continue from a specific point in the story" and then skipping from there to where you were the last time.
Hey, as far as I know due to the nature of the engine and how it handles Android version of the game (it's basically a web-browser game in a wrapper) the saves are stored Chrome's (?) root folders and are not accessible in a normal way.
If you lost your saves, simply start the game via "New Game" and then select "Continue from a specific point in the story" - you can choose either a specific Day, or the moment when the story splits into character routes.
