Hi Kylmaenen, thank you for playing! Your kind words almost spoil me haha. The mapping issue, if I understand correctly, regarding the misplaced tileset and the partially blocked pathway did come to our attention at the last minute. We would love to learn from this experience and make our next game (if it happens) better!

Hi Egg! First of all, thank you for your post. It is very encouraging and thrilling to receive such informative and well-rounded feedback for this prototype. As I described, yes, we were taking a minimalist approach to this game development since it is our first project on RPG Game Maker for all members of our team. We've tried to involve every aspect named in the game jam challenge, and obviously, it led us to kind of overlook the main theme - Macabre Carnival/horror. Though we've done some research on this topic, the final work is more resonant with what we are familiar with as a typical (i.e., old-fashioned, Japanese-style) RPG horror game by involving a haunted house and chasing element. Your comment is exactly what we need from a player's perspective with professional suggestions for future enhancement.
Thanks for the feedback! We're glad you liked the cute pixel-art and the creative concept of attracting the cat to the mice. Though the gameplay was short and simple, we're happy to hear that you still enjoyed it. Your input is valuable to us, and we'll consider it for future updates. Thanks for playing!
The whole game is incredibly eye-catching, and you can fully immerse yourself in it! I would love to see mind-blowing combos as you execute daring jumps, exhilarating rushes, and electrifying gestures while interacting with the environment. I absolutely love it because I can never go wrong—though I might occasionally shake up the entire ground! Amazing job!
Thanks for playing! Despite its brevity, we aimed to create an enjoyable gameplay experience within the 48-hour timeframe. Adding moving elements like a mouse could have increased the game's length and difficulty, but we did our best given the time constraints. I'd love to hear more about your game too! Feel free to share details or a link. Thanks for your feedback!
