# Dear Members and Under(her)tail Enjoyers,
When I started Under(her)tail: Love and Lust back in 2021, I put together a good team of artists, musicians, and folks to make the best game we could. Three years later, this original team has, for the most part, moved on.
The current team is much smaller than it was before, and the game design vision has changed more than once since this project’s start. Then I dropped working on the game for all the other commitments on my life, which brings us to today. No updates in a long time, and hype long died down among some of you folks, I’m sure.
I could have cancelled Love and Lust and moved on, but I still remember and hold on to what made me start all this in the first place:
- Under(her)tail is a great comic,
- Us grown-ups in our fandom deserve a space safe from all the minors out there,
- It would be incredible for a game to exist that is purely meant for us grown-ups, a game that says “go away” to all the minors, and most importantly: **a game that’s good.**
## What now?
### 1. Full reboot of this server
- You’ll see some new channels on here, as well as some channels missing. I’m looking to make a fresh start with you all, and this reflects that. Anyone looking to view the old channels (now archived) may ask me for a role to see them again.
### 2. We’re starting the game dev thing over from scratch
- The Under(her)tail: Love and Lust you knew since 2021 is unfortunately not the same anymore.
- At the same time, I learned a lot of things about how to lead a team and direct a game since 2021.
- I’m going to meet with what’s left of my team and put together a new vision for the Under(her)tail game, then come back to you with whatever we come up with.
- Depending on how much we want to emphasise the reboot, the title “Love and Lust” may or may not change. We’ll get to you on that.
# TLDR: Old game and team dead, but my new team and I will put together new Underhertail game.
