The latest version has a graphics quality setting in the settings menu. Press 'ESC' and go to right side of screen where it says settings :) You can also turn off character animations. Moreover, please checkout the discord that can be linked to ur patreon :) We answer much quicker there!

Hey, if it says  "You do not have permission to open" check out this link and follow guide: https://app.milanote.com/1LNL5t1mF21g51?p=sMy1NTbHtoF

Just figured out the problem. It should be working in next update (tentative date of Monday release)

Thanks man. Not the most fun experience in the world 🙃

Hi, what version / operating system are you running?

There's an update at the end of every month.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. I've been tinkering with the combat system and your feedback helps me think of ways to improve it. I'll look into the bugs as well.

Sorry about the trouble. After some research it seems this has to do with mac permissions and unknown apps. There are two ways I've found that may solve the problem. The first is following the steps on Mac's site here:

 https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-developer-mh40616/mac

If the issue is mac opening an unknown app then this should fix it.

If it is a different permission bug then we may need to try what is suggested by another game's users (except replace every instance of the word "Karlson" with "osx_22" assuming you're running version 22):

https://itch.io/t/656311/i-cant-open-the-game-on-mac-os-catalina-maybe-because-its-32-bit-i-wanna-play-ittt

Here are the instructions from the above link with the word Karlson replaced with the build name of uncommon breed: osx_22.

"Managed to make it work.

Right click on the .app file (aka the game), click on "Show Package Content", it will open a Finder window, browse to Content -> MacOS.

Open the terminal and type "cd " (include the " "), then drag & drop the file inside the Finder windows (it will be a file with a white icon called osx_22).

At this point you will see a kind of long command, erase the word "osx_22" from the end of the command. (All of this is done to navigate to the same directory that Finder is in, but using the terminal.

Now type "chmod +x osx_22"

In case you see an error like "permission denied" try to use "sudo chmod +x osx_22", in this case you will be asked to enter the admin password.

Now type ./osx_22 and the game should start!

If it doesen't because of the Apple security thing,  open "System Preferences", click "Security & Privacy", make sure to be in the "General" tab. At the bottom of the window you will see a button saying something like "Open Anyway", and red somewhere the name osx_22 and the reason why it has been blocked (aka being downloaded from the Internet).

Now the game opens and runs!"

Let me know if this fixes the issue

Hey would it be possible to post a screenshot of the error? I'm wondering if this is the same bug posted above ( "Cannot be opened").

Let me know if this fixes the issue!

Hey, what version are you trying to run? Osx?

The newest file is the 18 day old one. I just posted a log about it really late. Sorry for the confusion :)

Hey, what do you mean it's not working?

Hey, what version are you running. 15.0.0 or 15.0.4?

Hey, I'm looking into this. Is it if you choose any class? Are you using the start new game without tutorial button or the original start game button? Did it work previously (prior to this update were you able to get past this point).

Awesome! Thanks for posting your fix.

Hey, you mean it won't go past picking a class (lovemancer, ECT...) a bit into the game?

Oh, so you mean he's not in the pub world! That's odd. Thanks for clarifying. I'll look into this.

Hey, sorry about the troubles. I would suggest reinstalling the game and seeing if that fixes the issue. If not, try deleting everything in the save folders and reinstalling.

For Android this folder should be similar to the path: Android/data/com.panickedfoxgames.uncommonbreed/files

for Windows: AppData\LocalLow\Panicked Fox Games\Uncommon Breed

Hey, it looks like the fights isn't loading properly for you. Sorry about that! As a temporary fix I'd suggest creating a new game and using the skip button to speed to where you were. I know it's not ideal and apologize again for that being the intermediate solution while I look into the issue.

Glad you got it working! Not sure what's happening with the untrusted issue.

The MC?

Hey, were you able to get past this part? I haven't seen this issue yet. What spell are you using before it breaks? Who is in the party? A screenshot would be awesome! My suggestion for now might be to revert to a previous save.

Hey, I'm confused about the issue. There are some scenes where this is done intentionally. Can you give me an example of when someone disappears and reappears?

Hey, I'm not sure how to help you on the install. The best advice I could give you is to uninstall the game and then reinstall it. Possibly try clearing app data / permissions when uninstalling.

Thanks for the support!

Nah, it'll provide both download links.

Just for the current patreon release.

I wouldn't say they have the same body type. Once their shirts come off you can see a definite difference. However, they are similar and that's just a matter of taste. I'll be adding a bit more variety of characters in the future if things go as planned.

Hey, sorry about that. If you're running the Android version and this is happening I believe it's crashing because the device can't handle the initial loading of memory. I'm working on fixing this issue

Hey, what version/platform are you using?

Just a naming mistake on my part. It's the correct version :)

Oh wow, thanks man! Comments like this make the effort worth :)

Hey, each release is a separate payment. This is to make it fair for patrons :)
