Hi just DM'd you on Discord

I'm not sure what that is or even how to gauge it. Do you have a portfolio or examples of games you've done? And let me know you involvment.
I don't know anything about this stuff so I need someone who is familair with really small scale 8/16 bit style games.

Rate: $75/hr. I imagine this being a total of 3-4 hours of time combined.

I’m looking for a game developer with experience in 8-bit or 16-bit style game development to provide guidance on building a small, simple game intended primarily as a marketing tool for an influencer.

Project Overview:

Game Style: Inspired by Punch-Out!! / Super Punch-Out!!

Minimalist Design:

Controls: Max 2-button input

Audio: Minimal sound effects

Animations: Very Basic

Purpose: The game is not meant for full-scale release—it’s a marketing stunt to engage an audience. But it should be playable

What I Need from You:

Consultation on where to start – Pricing, possibility...

Insights into the full game development process – From design to launch.

Advice on keeping development simple and cost-effective while achieving the desired look and feel.

Who I’m Looking For:

✅ Developers with experience in 8-bit/16-bit game creation (NES, SNES, or retro-inspired pixel art games).

✅ People familiar with the entire development pipeline – From concept to final execution.

How to Apply:

Please reply with:

1. Your experience & credentials (relevant projects, engines you’ve worked with, etc.).

2. Any portfolio links showcasing similar work.

Priority will be given to candidates with end-to-end experience in developing retro-style game
