Sorry, when I read the page I did not see anything about you needing to start a new project.

On the #DogeCoinGameJam page it says:

"Welcome to the Dogecoin game jam, hosted by Dogecoin creator Billy Markus! This will be a week long game jam accepting any submission that has any relation to Dogecoin. This game jam is to encourage and celebrate the creativity of the Dogecoin community.
Don't worry about the game being a masterpiece - all submissions related to Dogecoin will be appreciated and played!"

So IMHO it should have been submitted to help promote #DogeCoin, which is all most of us are trying to do.

But I would be more than willing to take it down if anyone feels cheated.
Or Billy Markus can choose to omit my project if it gets high ratings (no hard feelings).

Alright thanks for the input! I had more rocks at first but was not sure if it was too much. More danger coming soon ;).
(I also have it available on iPhone & Android, the play area is smaller but definitely more danger haha)

Haha yes this is a great game awesome job! Just because you missed the #DogeCoinGameJam deadline does not mean this cannot be a fun game/app!

Thank you! Haha yeah balancing it has been a little difficult and I am working on it, but I did not want it to take too long to get all the Player AdOns.

It currently speeds up every minute and it gets harder as time goes on.
But what about a "Pause Button" where you can quit and record your score? Would that help the issue or is it just too easy in general?

Yes a couple of scripts. I have a "GameManager" script to set the powerups if they are grabbed.
Then in the "Coin" script, if the Magnet PowerUp is active it moves towards the player's position.

Sorry I had to update my game earlier (it was messing with my Unity Dashboard diagnostics for my iPhone & Android apps) and it cleared the scores (I am still new to updating on Itch).

But I did also add some "Phrases" for Doge to say and was wondering if anyone had any requests for me to add to the iPhone & Android apps.

Phrases so far (from the coin) :

  1. much coin
  2. how money
  3. wow
  4. v rich
  5. so crypto
  6. very currency
  7. plz mine
  8. nom nom nom

Ah nice I love it. I am gonna have to look into Twinery, I have only really worked in Unity (mostly because they make it pretty easy to switch/build on platforms).

Awesome! Yeah I have found out balancing a game is almost as hard as making it haha.

Ok figured out what it is!
It reminds me of those books that say "Turn to page # if you want ..."

I think an "open book" background would be real nice.
And each level can be a "different book".

Not sure how far you plan on taking it haha.
What are you programming it in?

Thanks! Admittedly I worked on it for two weeks and got it on the app stores... 
Then found out about this #DogeCoinGameJam with two days left and I had to hurry up and convert to WebGL haha.

Seriously great game!! Not sure if you are planning on making a mobile app version but I would play that too haha.
