From my experience, goddess Rep affects:

1. Faction rep of Factions aligned to the goddess. (For example, increasing Metal rep increases Faction rep with old Guardians)

2. The chance of finding a useable altar to a goddess. (? I believe at least)

3. Enemy factions that can appear when you step on a trap. (With low Metal goddess rep, again as an example, hostile Wolfgirl trainers can appear.)

4. if you break an orb and it would decrease your faction rep below 0% with a goddess, Orb guardians are spawned on the map.

5. Goddess rep gives you a bonus or penalty to struggling against restraints associated with that goddess.

Just to be clear, I have to capture them of the map? Because that seemed counterintuitive to me, Considering you unlock a lot of stuff by being near it and you lose your chance to unlock the cursed Items that require the shrine to a goddess. So I thought I just needed to be near a tied up Witch. Also IIRC it says "A mage" not "a couple mages."

Mayhaps it isn't a bug, but the wording may need some readjustment.

I have yet to uncurse an Item that requires me to tie up a mage to use their mana. Either it doesn't work or it should be clearer how it works.

Just to make sure it is clear how that bug possibly happens, for some reason (I suspect because I use the stranger perk) the Dryad/Catgirl and Dragonheart/Primordial quest groups are not immediately hostile to the player. When they become hostile and start building wooden (Or other) barriers, They are not hostile to the player either for some reason. Which leads to the interactions where you can talk to an inanimate piece of wood.

Hey, I downloaded 5.0.1 but in game it displays as 5.0.0 and is unchanged. Did I do something wrong? Do I need to delete saves somewhere?
