This is fun! sometimes the bot is TOO smart :P

Damn you're good at this game! :-)

I really love this game! The concept is so much fun and it has so much character.

Some amazing things:

- The little tutorial gobbo guy is just.. the real deal.

- The match 3 concept is so much fun!

- The little effects when building structures is really satisfying and well implemented.

- Watching your little defences kick gobbo asses is super cool and rewarding!

- Its just got a nice vibe and atmosphere to it.

Some random (ignorable) suggestions:

- It would be nice for the initial waves to spawn a bit quicker. Maybe an escalating wave timer would be nice? (not sure if this is already in.. excuse if it is)

- It might be nice to auto-collect the purple tier items but its totally ok doing this manually. Actually.. maybe doing it yourself is more of a dopamine boost? I dont know.

- Sometimes you have a crafting board that offers you very little options, maybe it would be cool to be able to re-roll the entire board at the cost of reducing your wave timer?

- It might be nice to be able to create sort of kill corridors, where you can funnel the bad guys. I tried doing this but I couldn't get it right.

Just some ideas, I wonder what other players think?

Bugs? Not many, none that are gamebreaking:

- Sometimes you have 3 of a kind but it doesn't automatically combine them. Not a big deal though, you just shuffle the items and it sorts itself out.

- Items sometimes overlap in the crafting panel.

Overall:

I'd give this game a solid 9/10. I had a lot of fun and I would recommend that anyone who enjoys a bit of tower defence, match 3s or just building games give this little game a shot.

THIS IS A SHORT GAME!

Depending on your playstyle it should take about 45 - 90 mins to complete

This game is so cool!!! I thought I was OP but then I got smacked down by some big mushies XD time to try again.

Cool game but would be nice if you died immediately when you hit an obstacle rather than having a delay.

Hey! I'm glad you had a good experience playing it even though its not your usual kind of game! Thanks so much for testing it out and for the detailed feedback.

Your shield never gets bypassed, you can only take health damage if your shield is gone, but we'll definitely discuss options for showing critical shield damage/shield depleted more clearly.

Hmm the screen continually flashing red was probably a bug. And haha yes the pink guys are annoying XD  I'm okay with them being a biiit annoying but maybe too many of them spawning at once?

Will adjust the default music vol, sorry if we hurt your ears. Thanks again! We really appreciate it!!

Thanks for getting back to me with feedback. Appreciate it. Hope you had fun playing!

Well done for getting to level 19. If you let me know in particular which upgrades you felt underwhelming we could try improve them?

Challenge yourself against increasingly desperate odds and prove you've got what it takes in this twin-stick top-down shmup. This is a combat demo for our upcoming title, Hadley's Run: A Starship Saga, in the form of an endless arcade. Each attempt is a bit different, try beat your high score :-) And we would love to know what you think?
