So if you see any locked choices, that's because up to that point you might've been choosing options that, in this case, made you seem skeptical of IAOS. So if you don't have enough brownie points for loving IAOS it doesn't add up and those choices get locked. Basically, if your past acitvity/choices don't match a certain choice it isn't available.

Evertides updates the chapters one by one! Usually a couple of months apart.

WAIT OKAY I FIGURED IT OUT. I think something the guide didn't mention was that you have to finish making the sedative completely (mix it together and all) before trying to pull that trigger (and you also have to had gathered all the other things first). It works for me after that!!

Sorry, this is super late but... most likely the discord server. That's always the best place to put it.

I know this is super late, but if it isn't a problem with your volume settings (on your computer) then it's probably the setting INSIDE the game. So go to prefs/settings in E143, and fix the volume stuff there. Otherwise... I'm not sure.
