super polished for such a short dev time!! the art is charming and cute with LOTS of personality. the ramp up in mechanics was done so well. the controls are simple and intuitive. it even runs smoothly on a web browser. i wish all trains and mode of transport came with this groovy of a soundtrack

I didn't know what to expect, but wow!!! I'm blown away by everything here. The story isn't childish, the child characters are full of personality and it gave me a good chuckle. The minigames are full of personality and the mods give them even more flavor. Some side quests are fetch quests but you learn a lot about the characters that are involved. The minigame side quests were challenging, but getting over the initial difficulty hump felt satisfying as you learn (God, the drifting? felt so good. I hate racing games with a passion but THIS game managed to make it fun for me). The automated camera movement gave me some motion sickness but turning it off fixed it! As others have pointed out, the controls are somewhat janky, but I adjusted my control style a couple of hours into the game. I think I finished everything there is in this game. Got the end game gogabot and beat everyone in racing and dancing too B). runs smoothly on my laptop, i love the low poly style.
genuinely, this game made me understand critics who say "games shouldn't be 100% fun all the time" without having to play punishing long-form games like pathologic or dark souls. i feel my soul being crushed by each slip of the finger without losing many hours of progress. microdosing on suffering and then being compensated with a silly hat afterward. good game
ooooh i looooove this, so much. i do better at nonograms than minesweeper but i still love these types of puzzle games! such a nice blend of mechanics. the "maze" feature really makes sense to go with the floor system, it's so niceee. i still have a long way to go at mastering minesweeper, but this is a game that i could close and boot back up any time i want! although it's not necessary, i'd be super interested in non-randomly generated levels, playing into the "maze" design more! nevertheless playing this is very fun!! ^w^
this has officially made "shopping simulator" one of my top favorite game genres!! i love going on mundane adventures!! so much! i had so much fun playing it, the art style and cute little 3d bubbles are so adorable, it's such a charming game with a lot of personality!
some spoilers below!
i'll have to admit it took me awhile to "finish" this game, i haven't even 100%'d all of the phone numbers! i did my best at exploring stuff on my own, and, rather embarrassingly, after 2 hours of trying finally opened up a guide and realized. i could've climbed the chain wall this entire time?!?!?!? oh boy. not to mention when i followed the recipe i thought i was supposed to talk to an adult right after collecting the items because i was told to! i spoke to the grown ups and realized i.. should probably pay first. 100% realistic child simulator i love it. at least i got the ending and filled in everything in the pockets menu, so it's still a success!
playing this was such a pleasant experience, i sort of wish i could understand french so i can appreciate the intuitive language / game mechanic more! the atmosphere is cozy, it makes me want to stay in the store longer. i love the dialogue, plus the way stories are told through the objects is just *chef's kiss* amazing flavor.
minor spoiler
the divination bit is also a wonderful aspect. in my first playthrough i carefully and earnestly chose the object and i was really happy with the result i got, haha
