If you are using installer, i think you have to do a re-install. Otherwise download and replace old files with new ones

Hy 👋, thanks for reporting 😃, this may likely be the same as this issue here:

https://github.com/Orama-Interactive/Pixelorama/issues/1115

As a workaround, you can try the other version (portable)

The feature will now be available in the next version (The option shall appear in the View menu, with a changeable hotkey of Shift + C)

Hy 👋, The Erase blend mode will now be available in the next version 🎉

Hy, it seems the palettes were merged into pixelorama palette 🤔

Though you can still download the old palettes from here

(Click the palette you want to download, then click the (...) button, and select "download")

The tool bar is above the encircled part (I have highlighted it in yellow)

Hy, you can use the zoom tool. To use it, click and drag left/right

Hy 👋

It has a gradient effect (Similar to tool but you add gradient through a dialog).

HY if you want to copy to frame 2, and then make changes to that cel on frame 2, use copy/paste (Ctrl + C, Ctrl +  V) or clone frame button.

But if you want the two to have EXACTLY the same image (changes to frame 2 also gets applied to frame 1) then use "link cels to"

Hy 👋, It's planned but currently the focus is on PC at the moment so it in the far future.

Though you can still use it for a tablet through the web version

Glad to help

Hy, If you have any extensions installed, they might be causing this behavior, please update them if you have any.

Extensions that were installed during 1.0 stable and not updated, will cause some problems for 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 (because they were made a little differently)

Glad to help 😄

You can change your driver from here (this option is shown for Windows OS only). Set the driver to something else (From the list of options)

Hy, have you tried changing the driver, from the preferences? Maybe it'll help

Hy, have you tried increasing the fps value (from the image it's set to play at 9fps)

Hy, sorry for the trouble.

For the shortcuts and project, it was unavoidable because it was a breaking change (the way projects get saved is different now)

Regarding the slow export can you send a project file that is slow, and provide a video showing the bug (on discord). We'll look at it 😄.

Hello, you can drag and drop an image and from import options, choose "reference image".

Hy 👋, I think there are shortcuts for those keys in preferences, I don't remember what their names were but I'm certain they exist.

Thanks ❤️

Hy, can you tell how you solved it? It may help future users also using Ubuntu 😁

Congratulations 🎉

Okay, the bug has now been fixed 😁 (try downloading the release candidate again)

Thank you for reporting the bug.

Hello, which version are you using 0.11.4 or the release candidate for 1.0?

Hy 👋, the nightly versions immediately get updated whenever something changes you can try them out here:

https://nightly.link/Orama-Interactive/Pixelorama/workflows/dev-desktop-builds/master

(2 edits)

I can verify that this happens in v0.11.4, but in v1.0, it seems you can not move in two directions simultaneously anymore so this may not happen.
can you confirm this in the nightly build?

Edit: Slight update, the bug has just been fixed and diagonal movement has been restored.

Hy, if anyone here's interested to use the extension system, here's the "VariableStore" (Lots of extensions available there, including the next version's new curve tool and Voxelorama)

A slight correction, palettes made in 0.x can be opened in 1.0 (but not as they are.., first you'd have to export them from palette settings, and then re-import them in 1.0)

Changing opacity is not yet possible but you can set it so that onion frame are placed below the current frame

Hy, the next stable release will be the 1.0 version which will come soon, btw, if you're interested, the dev version is kinda stable now and you can use it for your usual things. Just remember that projects saved with 1.0 will not open in 0.11.4

The next release is now here 🎉

Hmmm, the icon could be different for your case (mine is a gear due to my Linux theme). As for it not running there are a couple of things you could try, hope it helps 😁

  • Check if you are clicking on the (.x86_64) and not (.pck). (.x86_64) Is the correct one.
  • Check if it has permission to be run as executable (right click on it, go to properties, and enable checkbox that says "allow running file as executable")
  • Check if you are using 32 bit Linux, instead of 64 bit (if it is 32 bit then you need the 32 bit version of pixelorama). If you don't know how to check it, you can download the 32 bit pixelorama version and see if it runs or not

Pixelorama doesn't have a setup for Linux, There should be a pixelorama.x86_64 file in it, that should directly open pixelorama😁 (you can also rename that "folder" to anything and place it anywhere you like)

This might help (I forgot I had made a vid on it 😅)

Hy 👋, tar.gz is another compressed folder, you'd have to uncompress it as well.

You have to drag and drop them

Glad you like it too 😁

you can download the .zip file. That is the portable version.
