The smooth look is generally our artist Arrapso's style, so that's how most of our love interests ended up. I'm a chest hair fan myself, but I also know I'm a fair bit older than many of our readers (and I'll note that my mom has complained to me about the smooth chests, heh). Unfortunately, a chest hair toggle is out of scope, but I understand how you feel! It's just one of those things that comes down to different strokes for different folks and in this case I went along with how our artist prefers to draw people (though I did manage to sneak Tuck through with some fuzzy!).
Oh, that sucks, I hope you've been able to correct it. I've just been through a battery of tests since Jan. when I finally got a new doctor who was willing to look into it instead of telling me to "eat right and exercise." Blood tests show my iron is fine but my B12 is low and I have systemic inflammation. We've ruled out everything else and my symptoms started a week after I had Covid so she's now confident that she can send me to a specialist for long Covid.
Thank you so much! I'm glad Steam regional pricing was useful for you. As a Canadian, I understand currency conversion pain.
We're busy with Will's route now and yes, Layton and a mystery love interest will be released as a standalone DLC game after the main game is out!
If you haven't seen the love interest PoV scenes in the Extras menu yet, there's one between John and Robin that I rather like. Thanks again for your support!
We'll have a game guide/lorebook/art book available closer to our final launch, and I'm sure folks will write some achievement guides as well. I do plan to make a guide for the free choices you can make that can change your experience but don't lead to a specific ending (for example, the choice whether to write an angry or diplomatic letter to Marion's father). I should have that in place when I release Will's route.
No, there are two non-romanceable characters that Marion can have brief romantic encounters with (one in the prologue, one in Sherwood Common) before she gets involved with the romanceable characters. Doing so does not negatively affect your relationships in any way, but may change some dialog with the non-romanceable characters later on.
Once you pick a love interest at the end of the common route, you can't kiss anybody else *except* in Geoffrey and Gui's shared route, where the actual romance choice comes later on.
There aren't many choices in the game that negatively affect your romances. There are a few choices that let you specifically choose to end a romsnce (leading to the Sherwood friendship ending for Robin, John, or Will) and occasionally a bad ending choice will be relationship related. Otherwise, your choices lead to one of two good endings per route!
