Good game, but too hard for me, tried to complete 1st act a few times without a success. Anyway, nice work, I really like the atmosphere!

Tried a few times, but can't get how to play. Adding a tutorial could really help!

Very fun game! I am a big fan of a western setting, sadly it's not popular among the game developers.

Nice game! Not sure if it's a Metroidvania, for me its more like platformer. I also got stuck when slided beneath an obstacle.

Nice one! This game can also be educational, if you will use real mushroom images!

Thanks!

Awesome game concept! You should think about developing it to the full game, I think it has a lot of potential. UI is a bit confusing now, but after I found out how to play, it was fun.

Inversion of controls was more unexpected than Rick Astley :D Nice game, fun to play, reminded me of old Serious Sam more than of the Doom or Wolfenstein.

Nice game! Good job with simulating different surfaces. Personally I would suggest adding some pointer to cargo bay and then to ice path, it took me a while to find where to drive.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I'll try to implement your suggestions in the future update!

Thanks for trying anyway. I double-checked Android version, it works on both devices that I have, and I already received feedback on it from others, so it seems your problem is rare, maybe device specific. One thing I can suggest - Androud build requires minimum 7.0 to run properly.

Hope you will have a chance to play it from PC.

Sorry for late reply, I uploaded latest Android build to Google Drive. Hope it helps.

Feel free to share any feedback on the game after you finally play it!

I can't do anything with how game is being hosted by Itch. For me, downloading is working as expected, so I can only suggest to play in browser, it should work on Android device. Let me now if helps or not.

Nice start! I can suggest to add sounds and music to your game. Also, I think I have encountered bug with enemy, who can't be killed after hitting you.

I like how the art looks, but I lack ability to play in fulscreen.

Great idea, reminde me of old-school Worms. I think this game has potential for further development.

Great game, finished it in one go.

Detailed review:

The controls are very pleasant, the ship feels realistic, it reminded me of Kerbal Space Program. When I was writing the review, I read in the description that this game was actually inspired by it. The physics simulation is also at a very decent level. The audio design is good too—minimalistic and not annoying, the music is pleasant.

I think this game has great potential to evolve into a full-fledged project. Great work, I will gladly play it again if there are any updates!

Funny game! You did great work with inertion of turkey movement

Nice work! I like the art, cutscenes, audio design. Consider adding WASD controls, it was confusing at first, before I realized I can move only with arrows.

Nice game! Goal is self-explanatory, which is great. Art is small but pretty. Only issue that I had - very small font.

Pretty game! I think you can make camera moves faster and adjust spikes hitboxes a bit, and it will be perfect game jam platformer.

Your art is very awesome! Is it a pure vector or a mix with raster? Also, is there any ethnic mythology behind the game narrative?

I like the game idea! Controls is a bit not obvious, as GoodSong mentioned earlier. Also, if I press WASD, game displays some debug text, I guess you forgot to remove it.

This game is really hard, good work with providing a guide dog experience through game.

Nice game, visuals is minimalistic but pretty. First location reminded me of TES 4: Oblivion start location in Imperial prison cell, not sure if you meant it. Also, command "help" is not working in the main menu.

Idea of the game is super fun, references to old Doom is very accurate. Good job!

Your game was in "most recent" section

On Itch page screen is about 320px width if you play in window.

Pretty game, very fun to play. I think always take movement speed upgrade is a key to success :D

My best score is 2340, it is pretty hard game, but fun. If you will continue to develop it, maybe it can be interesting to make it rhytm based. The spike flying horizontally was a surprise :D

Love how game looks, very cozy with a bit of darkness.  The mechanics of dying in the right place to be able to go further are also very cool. Personally I miss control hints.

Very beautiful and atmospheric intro. Puzzles is pretty hard too. In game font is a little hard to read.

Interactive tutorial is great, but it was hard to figure out how to defeat orange :D Any way interesting idea. Also, you can change viewport size in page settings, so game will fit page width without fulscreen.

Pretty art and interesting idea. There is a small visual bug with controls hints - if the character is behind the hatch, "E" hint will be rendered bellow the character and will be not visible.

Interesting idea with reflecting projectiles with sword. Also, you can set "Viewport dimensions" in project edit page to make embedded game window fit the page.

Villagers and demons sprites are very similar, it is hard to determine who is enemy and who is friend in the beginning.

Thank you for playing and detailed feedback!

"Eternal Steppe" is an RPG set in Central Asia with turn-based combat. Imagine a mix of The Witcher and Shogun Showdown—that's what I had in mind when designing this game. You play as a famous hunter, whose duty is to defeat the evil creatures of the steppe. Explore the map, talk to locals, fight enemies, and prepare for the final battle.

The game is currently in its prototype stage, featuring one chapter with 5 non-linear quests and a powerful boss at the end. It also showcases unique pixel art and animations.

You can play it directly in browser, any feedback (positive, mixed or negative) is appreciated!

Below, you can see a screenshot from one of the battles.
