Thank you for the feedback. I am planning to continue development and add features that I had no chance to implement in just one week. Same with the controls.

I have uploaded the raw footage I used for my gifs. It should serve as a walkthrough. It's in an update on the game page ;)

I can only test the Android build on my Quest 2, and it installs fine using SideQuestVR. "Quest 3 Support" is ticked in the export settings, so I don't know what could be the issue.

Thank you for the feedback :)

A lot of the points I had expected, considering the time limit, and I will be improving a lot of the systems and the controls after the jam. Teleporting using the trigger click tends to work fine on the Touch controllers, but for Valve Index I would prefer pressing the touch pad. Maybe I could make a spell for teleporting instead.

I might make the spell stones into rolled-up scrolls instead, to signify you have to pick them up to read them. Adjusting the spell duration and making them follow the wand are minor additions, really. My pride and joy of this version is the spell recognition system, though.: The fact that spells are recognized reversed and mirrored.

In short, the lighting is banded and scaled on each light source, and only light source with the highest diffuse is kept. Also, the Environment Tonemap is set to Filmi, exposure 2. Makes everything pop a bit more.

I've made some minor changes and uploaded version 0.0.2, which should make the final puzzle more intuitive, if you would like to try again sometime :)

I'm happy you liked it despite the creepy factor :)

I've added a new version to the game page that should make the final puzzle less misleading, in case you'd like to try for the ending again sometime ;)

Any rules concerning updating the game after the submission deadline?

I've got two comments now where the player has not reached the ending, and I'm pretty sure I know how they are getting misguided, so I would just like to fix it.

Not expecting anyone to replay or re-rate, obviously.

Thank you :)

Yes, I'm still working on the game, but after I have switched to the Godot game engine updates will be slower to come out.

Once you are out of the basement area there are no goal other than have a look around and play around with the items.

Thank you so much :)

I will see if I can have both forums and comment section on the page.

If you would like to play the SteamVR version on the Oculus Quest 2, you will have to connect the Quest to your PC, either wired using the USB C port on the headset or wirelessly using either AirLink or Virtual Desktop. Once you are connected you can start the game and it should open SteamVR if it is not already.  Alternatively, you can download the Oculus Rift build and open it without SteamVR once you have connected the headset.

Please let me know if the game worked on your VR setup. Please detail what VR headset you are using and if the game runs smoothly with your hardware configuration. Include you CPU, GPU and RAM configuration if you wish.

I tried it out on my Vive and it works fine. You should add it to Inputs, so it's easier to find for Vive users.
