Loving this. The writing is on point (except for the missing parts lol). Hope as you go on you add more choice to the game cause it's very single track :3.
Some improvements I would like to see:
A restart button at the final screens of the game. Having to manually backtrack if you want to play again is janky.
An option to automatically win or fail fights while it's still in early development. Specifically saying this cause I couldn't lose to the first fight on either path.
A combat system. I know you struggled to get that running, it's worth seeing if you can find tutorials or copy prewritten code. I've never used twine but it seems like a set of RNG rolls and start trackers shouldn't be too hard.
On Mobile Web the character select screen has a large blank section that made me think it was broken. Not sure if this is an issue on other platforms.
This project shows real promise and I'm really excited to see where it goes, and definitely about to play your other game mentioned in the description :3
