I am pressing the escape key! Take a look at this video. When I press the escape key it closes the dialog at the bottom but repeated pressing doesn't allow me to get to the save page, in fact you only seem to be able to escape when the triple horiontal bar icon appears, which is not very often. Is that right?

Thanks for that, is sorted now. I have a couple of other questions:
1. how do I exit the game and save, it seems completely impossible! No keys seem to let me exit or take me to the page where I can exit. How do I do it? I'm not able to make much progress at the moment as I'm having to start from the beginning each time.
2. would it be possible to call the app something other than game.app? It too generic when searching on spotlight (or Alfred which is what I use). I would suggest that you use "Wonderlang French.app" so that distinguishes it from other languages for when you own more than one.
